To Wu: I think that's an interesting point. What are the other classical de-noising methods that they should be comparing KPCA to, instead of linear PCA?

To andrew: Thanks for picking that out. 3000 would allow them them to train on more examples, but using 300 would make their data set more balanced, since they only used 50 examples to test. So I'm not really sure.
