Reunion is open to all classes, gender, race or whatever. We do not discriminate:-)

Joe Gonzalez: Please check your email. Cadena, i'm counting on you, brother.

All others still on the fence should consider making decisions real soon. The special hotel rate closes on April 25th. After that, you are on your own. Please check out the website as we have added more information: www.asf77.myevent.com (access only through your browser). We officially hit 1000 hits today. We have 40+ confirmed and looks like we will be hitting the goal of 50. We have 24 booked for Beatles LOVE at this momemnt. I have received emails from about 6 more classmates that want to go to LOVE, so i'm going to buy another block of 12. If you want to go, be sure to let me know so i can put you on the list.

Abrazo,

Mark-

Pardon the intrusion everyone - just came in to read your posts (I'm class of '80).

Just saw Franco Cimatti's photo and showed it to my husband and we both said "WOW"! Poor hubby is now dreaming of a Ferrari :) He is looking at photos right now and saying, "the interior is also beautiful . . ."

BRUCE - thought about you today!!! I was fortunate enough to see Discover and the 747 from my office window. It was so beautiful and sad at the same time. I just can't believe we don't have a space program anymore :(

Hope you are doing well - loved all your airplane photos. Congrats!!!

OK -thanks everyone for allowing the intrusion. Have a great reunion.

Thanks to all those of you who voted for Filippo - Pas sur. He has remained in the front page of the contest, so he will be well visible to the judges who will make the final call.
Bye - Franco

Thanks a lot Joe. Filippo is now in 10th place, so more votes would help to grant him first page visibility.

Well folks,
my son Filippo, the aspiring sound engineer and music production student, is at it again, this time with a dub-step rendition remix of a Janis Joplin track from 1970. So cast your votes at:
http://www.indabamusic.com/opportunities/j...t/submissions/98229
He is currently in third place, out of 273 contestants.
Thanks to everyone.

Larry, in that area, there are other worthy places to see: two of my favorites, after San Gimignano, are Volterra (west from San Gimignano), and Monteriggioni (on the way from Florence to Siena, close to Siena). Monteriggioni is a small walled-in village, with practically intact medieval walls. "Pici" pasta is what I would suggest there. And, of course, Siena: Piazza del Campo in the silence of early morning, before the day's activities get going, is hard to forget.

Mark, Franco did a wonderful job of laying out the menu for my first meal in Italy, (although, Trader Joe's Two Buck Chuck is not a wine to be sniffed at....). As I will be there celebrating the 60th birthday of a friend who has beaten cancer twice, I anticipate we will be drinking anything and everything within reach.
Franco, I believe we are due to be about 15 minutes out of San Gimignano.

Franco, if you are ever in the Central Florida area don't forget to look me up. My parents and my two youngest brothers live near here as well. I'm sure they would enjoy seeing you again too. I always think of you when I go to my monthly car club meeting (Central Florida Fieros,)as I pass the local Ferrari/Maserati dealership on my way there.

I would want to come to Vegas, but just too many things are piled up for work in that time of the year, and I can't think of crossing the Atlantic just for a couple of days; a trip like that would require at least two weeks.

Mark, I think Larry is intending Brunello, not supermarket Chianti. Obviously, with a thick and juicy Fiorentina steak, after a hot ribollita soup, and followed by cantuccini and Vinsanto. Where to Larry, San Giminiano?

John: You can only access the website through your browser. Email me if you continue to have problems:markrafaelmaldonado@yahoo.com. I will be making several new, real cool announcements in about a week.

Larry: I have been to Tuscany many time. The Chianti wine is like drinking 2 Buck Chuck. Marielena Scanlon sent me a photo of you way back then. I will be posting it on the website soon.
