OMG, I didn't know you guys were 40. I almost don't believe it, just like I can't believe in less than 3 yrs I'll be 30!!!! My mom hates when I say that bc it makes her feel old.
We just found out a couple weeks ago that our short sale with BOA was approved... only 4 months of waiting and a few inside favors to speed up the process to get our approval. Now onto the wonderful (and stressful) mortgage process. Doug and I are buying a townhouse in Chandler - 1568 sq ft, 3 b, 2.5 bath for 120k!! Prices are ridiculous these days. We're hoping for our closing to be around the end of this month. Today we have our inspections. WIsh us luck!! I'll keep you guys posted!

South OC is still retardedly expensive, but at least prices got low enough that we were able to afford something. A couple years ago, It would've never crossed my mind that I'd be able to afford a house here.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great day yesterday. After running ten miles, I took Landon to the zoo. DeKalb High School even cancelled school in my honor (well, actually, it was Fair Day).
