Captain Joe,
Where are you now? Mrs.Spicknall let us see the boat that rolled over 6 times. It looked pretty good for a boat that had rolled over 6 times. Have you been in any bad storms lately? When will you be back from your trip? If you can will you , come and visit our class when you are finished with the trip,if the school year isn't over yet?

Great progress George. We saw Spey in the Hartge Yard yesterday looking lonely. We have sold our Alexandria home and retired to Winchester Virginia in a new home in the city. Moira loves it. Now making preparations to sail to Maine for the summer. Probably a cross country next year to visit family and friends and maybe Alaska. Stay safe.
Cheers

Hi John& Moira,
It was a real treat to hear from you. Glad to hear that you have finally retired. They will never get along without you. I am looking forward to recommisioning Spey in June, if no one buys her. Have a safe sail to Maine.
                                                  Later,
                                                  George

Hi Joe, Hi George,
First let me thank you for the great opportunity you gave me to join you guys from Knysna to Tobago: It has been a truly wonderful time and I will never regret stepping on to Cosmos! Now I'm back I cherish all the memories and everyday new ones pop up and make me smile. I'll tell you being back is hard but I know this experience will stay forever. I have enjoyed you as Captain and First Mate and off course as persons, with your flexibility, humour, knowledge, sociability and most admirable your patience with us! In that respect I have learned a lot..... I wish you a great time teh coming weeks and you'll surely hear from me again! P.S. Have you found any pizza pepperoni already?

Hi Emily, Bill, Capt. Joe, and George,
I heard that cruising around the islands can be dangerous to your health: you might not have the heart to come back home! Happy sailing. love, elke

Hi Joost,
Great to hear from you, and, thanks for the compliments. We will not soon forget you, either; especially your sense of humor and tolerance. Yes, I found pepperoni pizza in Admiralty Bay, Bequia, finally.

Hi Elke,
Oh, yes, my health is suffering greatly from all this sailing around in these dangerous, beautiful, islands, and this dangerous, perfect, climate. But, I know that I have the heart to sail back home.
                                See You Soon,
                                             George

Dear Grandaddy,
I hope you are having a good time on the boat. I hope you bring me home a lotta, lotta seashells. I'm baking you something in my oven for when you get home. I got lots of pennies from somebodies house. I got rich just like you, grandaddy. I can't wait to play with you when you get home at the beach. I love you very much and when you get home I'm going to give you the biggest hug and biggest kiss.

Happy Valentines Day, Molly

He sailors,
How is it going? I guess it is a period for relaxation and socializing...So you are conquering the carribean now. I have pretty nice pictures although we probably all have the same views covered. I'll send some special ones to your homes..Again, I had a great trip. I hope you are continuing having one! Bye for now, Joost

Tom the Webmaster,
Thank you once again for doing such a great job on the web site. The way you posted the responses to the message board was perfect.
We had a fantastic time while Emily was here. She took lots of pictures plus a log report or two on diskettes since the web has been unreliably slow in the Carib. I am going to try to send the latest pics next. Hope she gets the diskettes to you soon or maybe you could ask her to email their contents.
Best of everything to you and everyone else back home.
Captain Joe

Glad to see Emily was able to get some time aboard Cosmos, put what is up with her hair? That hair color looks like something a normal person would do ;-) Man, child birth really changed Daphne!!!!!!!! As always, good luck to the crew of Cosmos, you come a long way baby!

Hi George and Joe,
Unimaginable for me that you are still enjoying life to the max ! I hope all of you are doing well and having a good time. I 'booked' a trip as crew to some weeks of leisurely cruising in the Med at a Moody 42 (2002) starting in May: France, Italy, Greece etc. My company isn't able to supply me with a lot of projects currently so than it's better to take advantage of that....Have a good time and I'm still thinking back to our past adventures !
