/m30503, Just to remind you when you go out on a 3999 they are out to screw you. Pleasant experience, as they were figuring out how to stick it to you.

I had a 3999 done recently, where the sup goes out on the route with you and checks deliveries..etc.
It was an overall pleasant experience, but we had a discussion about GPS, and I mentioned how GPS could fall under the "rule"? that a supervisor cannot do street observation without notifying the carrier.
The sup said there is no such rule.
Am I wrong about this? Thanks.

We have a carrier who became a 204. He was a total asshole as a 204. Now he is an unassigned carrier & mgmt just told him he will be excessed and soon. And he just bought a house recently.

Just to reiterate, as with any route adjustment done now or 40 years ago, if the regular carrier doesn't agree, the route is back to square one.

does the USPS gives exams to all this PO sups and management people like they give to the crafts before they hire or promote them. or they are all political, boyfriend girlfriend or relative related? all this new sups and manager that we are getting every year seems doesnt know anything about working in the PO and yet whenever anything that goes better they always try to messed it up. that is why the only days that our PO runs smoothly is every saturday when they are all not here and only the PTF sups are the only people running it.
