Thanks for the tips. Is there a way to check for air leaks on the gaskets? I have taken the carb from the manifold 1 time. The gasket looked in good shape. The accelerator pump does have a good steady squirt of fuel. It just not enough to keep the engine from accerating steady to higher speeds. It idles very nice but as soon as I give it gas it chokes like it need more gas. The tube assembly looked very clean and the ball was was moving freely and looked very clean. When you accelerate is the pump the only way it gets gas when you accelerate? I have rebuilt the carb and have been messing with it off and on for several months. At this point I think I need a miracle.
