Yeah, at least it could've rained. We need rain.

It rained here... Many Bothans had nothing to do with the rain either.

Ah, the wonders of Philly weather. A city so sprawling that one side can have rain/snow/thunderstorms or hail, and the other side can be sunny and in the mid 50s. No, this did not happen this year, but yes, this has happened in my memory. I left for work one day in 50+ degrees and sunshine, and when I got to work on the other side of the city (this was when I was at Bloomies) it was sleeting and in the high 20s. 30 miles and 30 degrees. It was fun, 'cause I had dressed for the weather I was IN, not the weather I WENT to.

The differences in the weather had nothing to do with the sprawling metropolis of Philadelphia. I was testing my (then) new weather domination device before going global with the program. You will be happy to know that the bugs have been worked out.
And BTW, folks, a simple oath of fealty can prevent such occurrences in the future, and ensure pleasant sunny weather for your entire commute. For more information on how to join my New World Order, just look for the coded directions on the backs of most highway signs in your area. Operators in black helicopters are standing by. Submit now and get a free turnip twaddler!
--Joe "I will make it sunny today, except in Cleveland... Bob!" (I'm sick at home... can you tell?)

Dear Mister Blowfish,
You may find it enlightening that we have already conquered your puny planet. Our laser cannons in Tycho Crater on your natural satellite are ready, 24 hours a day, to vaporise your skull if you do anything we don't like.

The test tells me I would be a Neutral Good Elf Mage Bard. Slightly more terrifying is that Glenn would be a Lawful Evil Human Cleric Mage.
Lawful Evil.
--Jon I'll bet he wouldn't even warn you before vaporising your skull.

I am a lawful good elf bard ranger. But I don't _like_ to play instruments.

Dear Mr. Blowfish:
I find your oppressive domination of the weather to be unacceptable. The idea of the National Weather Service with an Army of Evil is just unacceptable. Please stand by while a corduroy ninja squad is dispatched to your location. Thank you, have a nice day.

It said I was a Neutral Good Elf Bard Paladin. Hrm.
-- Mark Of course, now that the occultation is over, it's beautifully clear here, but that's far too late. My scheme to refract Saturn's natural radiation through my lunar concentrator lens into a deadly Inferno Ray has been foiled. Curse you, Blowfish!

True Neutral Elf Bard Ranger.
BTW, Mr. Goro, if your concentrator lens was on the Moon, and was so all-fired powerful, shouldn't it have just burned through the cloud cover?

Yipes! Where'd the board go?
Eek. From the "Post a reply" page it seems to think the most recent posts are #663, #664, and... #1. Maybe the same people run this as run my IT dept...
--Amanda That was supposed to say "Not Your Real BBoard", but this works too.

Well, the board seems to be working (except that all the old messages are gone)....

Either no-one is posting to AFAP anymore, or I'm not seeing your posts. Any clues as to which?

Abner, the board went through some sort of database corruption and many messages were lost. There is a new temp forum, linked from the AfAP main page. I dunno if Jon is going to switch back to this one in the future or not. Pity to lose all my deathless prose, either way...

Well, every time I go to the new board (or, at least, try), it crashes my poor, primitive computer, so it looks like goodbye ... or at least, until we meet again.
Take care, and please say goodbye to the rest for me!

Abner,
The new forum has ads on it. Try turning off your Javascript and see if it still crashes you. I bet that will fix it.
