My wife, Eileen, and I are lifetime members, having served as Royal Matron and Royal Patron of Royal Court #5 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, some years ago. We would appreciate information about your upcoming Grand Court in Orlando as we plan to spend winter months there and would like to be able to attend local meetings.
Thank you
I can be reached at stevesandifer@yahoo.com

We would like to thank all of the Florida members for their wonderful hospitality during our visit. Tonight we make our last subordinate court visit at Acacia and that will make 12 courts we have visited in the past 19 days. We also attended the Grand Conductress and Grand Associate Conductress Banquet and the Mom & Pop's day at the Masonic home. Our time here has been wonderful and our memories will last a lifetime.

Thanks again,

Clay & Judy Garrett, Oregon

This is a reminder about the Georgia Southeastern Exchange Night, October 16 at the Holiday Inn, Jekyll Island, GA. Time is running out for hotel reservations - the deadline is September 15. The original block of rooms is full, however, we have been promised that more rooms will be added. Troy and I are going up there tomorrow to check on things. If you have a problem, don't give up, give us a call at 912-882-5460 or email at emmy1@tds.net.
We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend on Jekyll with our friends. Emily Wise, DSRM - Georgia

I would like to start a discussion topic on membership development. What can be done to promote our beautiful order and stop the tide of darkness! We need to see increases in the quantity and quality of new members and ensure members want to take an active role in their Court. After participating in Grand Court this past year, I get the impression that this subject is hush-hush. In starting this topic, I do not want to step on anyone's toes or change time-honored traditions, but to generate ideas and share strategies. One obstacle I face in talking to prospective Brothers and Sisters is the length of our meetings (3 hours w/ GL visit). This does not bode well with working members.

What worked in your Court or Jurisdistion to improve membership/attendance?

Hi everybody:
I have a question that nobody have been able to answer, I have no kind of masonic afiliation, to be honest, my family doesn't know what that is, but I know what it means and I would like to become a member of the Order of Amaranth, how do I do this if nobody in my family have ever been a mason?

Thanks.

On my last message for the bulletin board I forgot to include my email address. It's KcTeddy101@aol.com. Again I look forward to seeing everyone at the Florida Grand Court.
