As Apple Inc. rolled out its newest iPhone in Asia on Friday, dealers and buyers said it's only a matter of time — maybe as little as a few days — before the popular device hits the region's thriving underground marketplace.

Contact the Grand Secretary in the state which you reside and he/she should be able to guide you through all the information for becoming a member of the Order of Amaranth. Most of the Grand Courts are listed on this website with address and telephone numbers. Good luck!

I would like to know why 10 courts out of 24 hold two meetings a month not allowing many H.L or S.K. the oppotunrity to visit other courts during the month.

We would appreciate information about your upcoming Grand Court in Orlando as we plan to spend winter months there and would like to be able to attend local meetings.
Thank you

We would like to thank all of the Florida members for their wonderful hospitality during our visit. Tonight we make our last subordinate court visit at Acacia and that will make 12 courts we have visited in the past 19 days. We also attended the Grand Conductress and Grand Associate Conductress Banquet and the Mom & Pop's day at the Masonic home. Our time here has been wonderful and our memories will last a lifetime.

Thanks again,

Clay & Judy Garrett, Oregon

I would like to start a discussion topic on membership development. What can be done to promote our beautiful order and stop the tide of darkness! We need to see increases in the quantity and quality of new members and ensure members want to take an active role in their Court. After participating in Grand Court this past year, I get the impression that this subject is hush-hush. In starting this topic, I do not want to step on anyone's toes or change time-honored traditions, but to generate ideas and share strategies. One obstacle I face in talking to prospective Brothers and Sisters is the length of our meetings (3 hours w/ GL visit). This does not bode well with working members.

What worked in your Court or Jurisdistion to improve membership/attendance?

Hi everybody:
I have a question that nobody have been able to answer, I have no kind of masonic afiliation, to be honest, my family doesn't know what that is, but I know what it means and I would like to become a member of the Order of Amaranth, how do I do this if nobody in my family have ever been a mason?

Thanks.

Wendy - The Order of the Amaranth is a Fraternal Order whose members are the female relatives of Master Masons, and Master Masons. If you are 18 years of age, and related to a Master Mason (daughter, grand-daughter, wife, sister, etc), you are eligible to join. There are several Courts (that is what we call our local organizations) located in your area. You can find more information on these by looking at the "Subordinate Courts" page on our Web site.

I apologize for intruding in on your message board, but I would very much like to join and need to know if there are any lodges around Fort Lauderdale. Also being female, would I be able to join?

Sincerely,
Wendy

Greetings Bros. & Sisters,

I joined the Order of Amaranth in Pensacola, FL, at a regular meeting of Five Flags Court which met at Brentwood Lodge. I was obligated as a visiting Master Mason and received a membership card from the secretary marking the occasion. Unfortunately, I've lost that card and I'm having a terrible time convincing the Bros. and Sisters in Louisiana that I actually joined the order!

Would someone from Five Flags Court please contact me about another card ( skujaw@dcc.edu ) ? I would truly appreciate it!

Jeannie and I are well and busy in New Orleans, been here since 1997. Jeannie is working as an artist and I'm teaching vocal music at Delgado Community College. Hope y'all are well. Give Buford Smith, Shorty Bryant, and all the Court our best!

Love,

While at Grand Court Order of the Amaranth, State of Missouri, I had the pleasure of meeting the Supreme Conductress. You are all so fortunate to have her as a supreme officer as she is delightful. I am looking forward to meeting her again especially if I am able to attend the Florida Grand Court.
