CHristmas party has been moved from the Mayeux's home to Del & Linda Manuel's. 434 Maude Road. Everything else remains the same. From Hwy 378 (Sam Houston Jones Parkway) turn on Reeves Road, turn right on Bozo Road, turn right on Maude Road - 3rd drive on right. Call 855-9373 if you get lost.
Hope to see everyone here! Old fashioned Christmas - caroling, firepit bonfires, etc.

Hi Grand Bois!!!, I sure miss you. Melissa and I were members in the 90's and the memories of our fellowship with you keep us going here in our new home... South Carolina. Mardi Gras, to the locals here means New Orleans, I have a difficult time explaining to them what WE were all about. I would like to begin a chapter here for the locals to let them know what we had, a real Mardi Gras orginization, what it is all about and extend our fellowship. Thanks for the good years of fun and friendship, Have lots of fun this year........ Larry and Melissa Stagg Any one who remembers us... I am at ...... lstagg@charter.net, Melissa is Staggm@charter.net

Hi Melissa and Larry, it was good to hear from you. Yes, this is Mardi Gras season and the Krewe has the second Kings Cake party this weekend. We are going to miss this function, because our son is getting married to a wonderful girl from Jeff Davis Parish. We have some family here from Germany. They will stay until Ash Wednesday. There is Mardi Gras in Germany, but it is celebrated differently. I am sure our visitors will enjoy our ball and the other celebrations. Go ahead and start a Krewe at your new location. May be we can exchange visits in the future, just like we did with the Krewe de Charly Sioux of Sioux City, Iowa.

Hi y'all Ilse and I think that this fine forum could help so much with the communication of krewe members, especially if our krewe president would use it for announcements. (-:) There are 16 subscribers only. Would all of you write in, so we know who you are? It would be nice, if everyone would help signing up another member, so this forum can grow in a hurry. Cheers Richard
