Big bummers bud...
Scored some good silvas this weekend. Super crowded though. At first wasnt comfurtable in the unstable conditions(cleanup sets) but it was only like 4 or 5 feet, 6 on the biggest ones. However, after like 20 min of indecision a big one swong wide and my friends father just looked at me and said 'go now. moment of glory, i used to be scared to, just GO.' i just kinda said ok and swong around and dropped in. I had a great ride and decided that takin a few on the head was worth a few more of those good bigger ones :). So it was a great session, probably heaviest i have been out on my longbaord. On a short baord it wouldnt have been a problme, but duckdiving a 5 foot wave in country isnt too much fun ;). Final wave was fun cause i wasnt expecting it but the wave just jacked up vertical as i had a high line about to noseride, and i free fell to the flats in the barrel and just got licked. Pretty fun. The best part was that a moke taht was givin me the stink eye for most of the sesh just looked at me and said. 'hollow, ya brah?' and gave me a smile and a nod. Really good session for me overall.
