Yea, but Phillies won what like 4 world series where as Yankees Won 27 World Series and made it to the world series about 40 times in the past 108 years.

Thats like 39% of the time the Yankees being in the world series.

I don't have a problem with the Yankees as a team, but last year was really nice that the Yankees where NOT in the post season.

The problem is that the Yankees are on a different level then all the other baseball teams by the way they spend money and accuire players. They generate more revenue than any other team, and have the funds to re-invest in the team.

Im not necessarly saying this because I want the Tigers to Win the world series, but I get sick and tired of seeing the Yankees go again and again year after year.

If a team wants to "Earn" the world series, lets take all the payroll money and put it in a big pot and then equally divide it among all the teams and see how good the Yankees do on an equal budget.

I honestly think we need a spending cap in baseball that is realistic for all teams!
