I think now that the Yankees won another un-deserved championship, we will see the demolition really start to begin.
I don't think it would have looked very good for people to come to the New Yankee Stadium, and see the old one being torn down accross the street in the same manner as Tiger Stadium.
As far as Wrigley Field is concerned, I think the best they can do inside the stadium would be to replace the seats with the retro plastic ones with the team logo on the end seat.
As far as the concourse and bathrooms, there is nothing historical about that part of the building and I think that would be a welcomed renovation. The concourse can be widened, but I think it needs to be extended out into the sidewalk area outside, as I would not be in favor of cutting into the seating area.
