Sorry for the delay with your grades.

I worked together with the TAs over the weekend to get the results out as quickly as possible, which was Tuesday after the final on Friday!

I don't know why CSE hasn't provided the results yet!

I have not received my grades either.

Professor: does each grade letter in the "overall" results represent each person? I sat towards the front of the class, so i did not have a chance to count how many people were in class.

For the anonymized results (FINAL+ OVERALL) see the class page or here:

It was too long. It was about twice as long as usual.

You're cool.

Hi ST,
The program outputs the value of the global variable B because function main "knows" only the global B. The local variable B declared in p2 is not visible within main().
Concerning the value of A, the last update of this global variable (before being output), is during the execution of procedure p1 called by p2. In the statement A:=B, variable A is assigned the value of the B (local) since that local B is the B "known" to p2 (the calling procedure). Let me know if you are still confused.

I am still confused about the output for the dynamic scoping for the homework#5.
Why we print out the global B, not local B?
So A will output 2... This 2 is from the first execution of p1 or it is affected by the local B (A:= B)?
Thanks!

Um, the professor said pretty clearly that we are supposed to handwrite our notes. So no typing or xeroxing is allowed! And although I am not the TA of this class, I'll be checking who typed their notes myself.

I have noticed that some people are typing their notes. Will we be allowed to use typed notes if we bring them to class on Friday? Is anyone going to check?
