Thanks, Jeff, I thought that post was suspicious, but if it was one of us, I didn't want to call out a legit message. Spammers are getting very clever!

Who is "jeck"? When I click on the link it s a foreign language. Also there are elements in the post that echo my comments.

I was hoping that those at convention would post pictures of the salts that are now in their collections. You know those salts you purchased either at convention or on your way to or from convention. Jeff has a neat section on this web page called the Open Salt Road Show just for this purpose or use this site. When I get my pictures back I will have Jeff post them for I did add to my collection and I did find a salt at the Armory in Newport after convention. ( I think it was Tuesday when we went) The dealer had just brought it in the day before we were there. Sarah

Thanks to all who went to Newport and let us know we were missed. We missed all of you and all the fun. The photos posted helped to make us feel a part of everything. My convention salts and the get well card arrived and I loved the salts and enjoyed reading the messages on the card. Love you all!

This darn computer----I had to send my note before I was finished since "it" threatened to close on me.

Patty's mother was Mary Roque.

I never realized how much cards meant until my husband died. They really do mean a lot.

This is a note that Patty gave me permission to post this on our chat page. Some of you may have noticed that Patty had to leave the convention quickly and early. Her mother had been taken to the hospital and was very sick. She died that weekend. Patty was such a help with the convention. She did most, if not all, of the little cutouts, the logo, the logo on the blue bags, the little calendars and the lighthouses on the tables on Saturday. She worked hard in the hospitality room too. I am probably leaving out many other things that the did. I know she brought sunshine and hard work to all our meetings and to the convention she was able to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Animal Protection Center of South Eastern Mass, 1300 West Elm Street, Extension, Brockton, MA 02301 or donate online at www.apcsm.org. Cards may be sent to Patty Leite, 238 Bluejay Lane, East Taunton, MA 02718.

Up date: The Jeffery Evans May 15 th catalog is now posted on their web site. I just looked at the catalog and there are salts in this auction, especially 577-682 and 7 others listed from 58-300. Lot 488 has glass hats. After the salts are listed I found some children dishes that could be used as salts.

I have one of the original books - Though small - the pictures are quite crisp and clear - Not sure I would have paid the $250 for it though - m

Hi All! Just wanted to say have my new calendar on my desk at work; looked thru all the photos first! How nice!!!

Also, wanted to send Sandy a great big thank you for being such a gracious hostess on Sunday!! It was a real treat for us, Gary enjoyed it just as much! Fantastic to see salts I had only seen in books, And so nice to chat with folks I hadn't really met at the convention!

And, food for the road! Your daughter fixed a great spread! Thanks so much Sandy!!!!

I got home today mid afternoon from a great time in Newport. I need to second what Judy said about convention It truly was a blast. NESOSC did an out standing amount of work and it really made for a wonderful convention. The food at the hospitality room was to die for. Each day there was different treats to enjoy. Those that could not come, you were missed. Now mark your calendar for the first weekend June 2015 for the 14th convention in Cleveland. I found the people of Newport to be so friendly and helpful especially the staff at the front desk at the Hotel and those in the visitors center. Must not forget all the bus drivers each time we were on the bus they would give us information on Newport and we were on the bus a lot especially the yellow line. Now to finish unpacking and drool some more over my new salts. Sarah

Hi, Cindy... I don't know if we were ever told who specifically designed that salt. I know it was made in Israel. I think I have the original cards someplace. But a mor organized person may answer this before I put my hands on the info!
