Yeah, it is. Bad guys (well, mainly the leader) are more interesting than your usual anti-pokemon team.
Graphics are also a huge improvement. Some of the pokemon designs have been let-downs, kinda. Ice-cream, pubic-bear, gears, snowflake etc.

No, however I did buy a Gameboy Color with Pokemon Red at my local vintage gaming store a few weeks ago. Lots of fun was had.
I'll probably get Black/White over the Summer time. Rate it 1-10?
