Hi Irit,
Sorry that I didn't respond sooner. LEAP is keeping me busy! I originally didn't create one whole power point presentation. I saved each child's work individually. They worked on laptops so I had to save each slide that they created. I then imported them into Photo Story 3. So I didn't save it as a power point presentation. However, since you can add sound automatically advancing slides in power point, I suppose you could achieve similar effects as a movie. However, Photo Story allows you to add title pages, different transitions, etc. But to answer your question I put a slide show together without the narration and music. My finished photo story project was 55.3 MB and my power point show was 2345 KB. Hope that helps!

Vicki,
Is the Photo Story-3 file bigger than the PowerPoint with the same pictures?

Start with digital pictures that you've taken of your kids throughout the year.
1. Download Photo Story 3: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/d...oStory/default.mspx .
2. You may also have to download Windows Media Player 10: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...yer/10/default.aspx
3. Open up Photo Story.
4. You will be asked to import media from wherever you have it stored. That would be your class pictures.
5. You will be given the option to add captions, music, and transitions. Save the project until you are ready to finish the movie.
6. You can also add narration if you choose to. But the first time you may want to keep it simple. When you are ready to produce your video movie you save it as a video for playback on your computer.

Once you try this... you will be ready to have fun with all those grandbaby pictures...
