thanks, me too, I'm done with USPS.

Take care and best of luck to the PMR's. The Casuals will be taking the Postal Service over in just a few years. Dot your "i's" and cross your "t's" at all times!

and remember things are always changing! Do your homework! Don't depend on your PM for any new training or changes, research yourself at all times. When in access of a USPS computer look for training EVERYWHERE! There are courses you can always be taking! Be aggressive! Beef that 991!

Good luck and lots of thanks!

Because I had received a letter to remove me. So I resigned.

Removal was for incompentance of sorts (not knowing SOP that is)........I doubt they could've removed me with the MSPB and all, but I still resigned...I was soooooo exhausted....and disgusted with USPS..felt they didn't deserve someone loyal and hardworking such as myself.

In my notice of removal it said I took PM course. Yes, I did, that was at the END of my OIC LOL!. It also said financial was part of the modules, no, it WASN'T. Never did any finance modules! NOT A ONE! So, probably could have fought it, but resigned.

My file is long too. Doesn't matter. I am not sure if there is a time limit on files. I waited 3 years but all info. is in my OPF on liteblue.

PMRs are a threat to a lot of "career" employees pure and simple.
Most of these forum posters couldn't give a spit about a PMR as you have seen SPENT.
I had to learn that too. It doesn't matter to some of them that you are a human being.
Some of the"career"employees pushed me to get off "their" forum too:)

I have really good posters. Just a few but all are good people.
They are the best.

F W Dove,

Fasinating concept, re applying.........unfortunately, I probably have a file 5 miles long. How often are they purged hehehehehe! I would love to learn the Finances, but am no longer subject to any of the forms : (

I understand the Careers are worried for their jobs.....it's simply the abuse, and non guidance I was subjected to here that really hurt me more. I was sincere and needed help. Yes, defensive at times, for obvious reasons.

There were only a couple poster whom were objective, provided me with information in an effort to assist me. No one said, "they can't charge you with a debt unless they can prove a debt, because of the Debt Collection Act" etc.......instead I was harassed, accussed and made fun of. I do not see these as Professionals........I see them as Cowards. They WILL get theirs, it is called Karma.

Regardless of the fact that I was a Casual...I am still a Human being.

A little help went a long way from the couple of posters I DID meet...they know who they are, and I am grateful for them and you FWD. My situation, yes, was complicated, but it was as real as it gets. Can't believe how mean people can be really. It saddens and sickens me. This will run deep for a very long time for me.

Hey SPENT, have you thought about getting back in with the USPS at a later date ?
You know........I resigned once too:)

Don't let the negative posters on these forums get to you. The majority all are "career" employees and fear for their own jobs.

Financial Audits are really not bad at all once you are aware of your responsibilities.

"USPS audit, Untrained Management"......it's EVERYWHERE, unfortunately I was just a Casual without Career status so they could threaten me with termination:

F W Dove,

Just having heard from you, and knowing someone understands is the biggest weight off my shoulders!!!!!!!!!!! I have been tortured on these forums. I just did not know enough to take on a Level 15 as an OIC, that's all. So instead of any empathy I was called a troll etc etc...I am hurt and defensive.

Wow, you are lucky and really sound like you know your stuff. Wish I had met you long before any of this. I never thought to reach out until AFTER I was put in an off duty pay status.

I have something from NAPUS about what to expect from an audit, of course I received this from my Napus Rep AFTER I was already suspended. If I can locate it, I will pass it on.

Thanks for helping me and others FWD, you are the best.

My current job is working for the school district....putting my education to use, guess I should've gone that route in the first place! I absolutely love the children, and there is not the stress of an audit LOL!

I believe I am in good shape on all except #3, which is a new one to me.
Also I appreciate your discretion on #6.

Some things they look for in an audit.

1.Key envelopes are sealed correctly and key inventory lists are current.
2.P O boxes rented actually matches physical p o boxes that are open.
3.Inventory list of AIC 093 products is current and correct.
4.Safety and OSHA reports are current.
5.Make sure main stock count is correct and that all stock counts are being done timely.
6.They check everything that is in that special folder in the safe.
