Guitar and Bass Lessons. Anyone interested in learning how to play the guitar or bass, please contact me at (386) 882 8673. I currently have several students whom I teach weekly, and have a musical background in choir and the stringed intstruments. I am a venitian bay resident of two years, and am an Undergraduate at Stetson University. I have taught individuals ages 5 and older, and lessons usually take place at the home or at a place of the students choice.

Is the ice cream place up for sale? I heard it was going for just $12K? It would be such a shame to loose yet another business in the town center. Does anyone know what the problems might be for the tenants?? I heard the developer was really charging way too much for space. And why does the italian restaurant not offer "normal" pizza pies at a competitive price?? I hope this development makes it! Edited 02-11-2010 03:30 PM

Casey’s on the Corner opens in Downtown DeLand Many of your Venetian Bay neighbors have made the short drive to DeLand to experience our new place and it is definitely a hit! Why not make a day trip to Downtown DeLand, enjoy the many new businesses that have opened, and stop in at Casey's for lunch or dinner. I would love to catch up with many of you. Casey’s on the Corner is a family oriented baseball themed casual restaurant that has a diverse menu featuring specialty hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, panninis, along with beer and wine.
