Hi, everyone - I loaded about 45 pictures onto Facebook from Saturday night's gathering. If you have any pictures from any of the events, please share or get them to me for sharing.

I wish I had known about the reunion. I graduated in '65, but should have graduated in '64. Had to take the 6th grade over again. Would have been nice to see everyone again.

Lola, I just sent you a friend request on Facebook. Would love to see the pictures.

Looked at the '64 Reunion pictures last night. Thanks, Lola. They were great. I remember some of you, and some of you haven't changed that much. Good job on putting names to faces. I'll be going to the picnic on Labor Day in Speedway. First time for me. Ought to be fun.

Lola: I have a Facebook page. How do I get to the Facebook page that you posted the '64' Reunion pictures on? I didn't see them on your Facebook page. I would like to see the pictures. Help! I'm a rookie Facebooker. Mr. T

Ben: Since you have already signed into Facebook, I will go in and ask for you to be my friend. You will then need to confirm the request. Then go to my wall and find photos. Click on the reunion album. There are 48 pictures to date. Let me know if you are successful in getting to the pictures.

Thanks Lola: Your directions worked very well. I was able to see a few faces from my past. Of course everyone changes, but I have remained the same. Ha!! Mr. T

Lola: Can I be your Facebook friend, too? Please? I'm from the class of 1965

Sure, not a problem. Just request that I be your friend and after I confirm your request, go to my wall, then click on the photos tab and then click on the 1964 reunion pics. There are 50 pictures. Then click on the first picture to make it larger and use the next tab to go through the pics. Hope you enjoy them. I did not get a pic of everyone because I ran out of memory. Did not have another memory chip with me. I was borrowing a camera. Don't have one of my own. Anyway enjoy!

Hmmmm, Obviously now that the class reunion is over, no one checks this board for weeks at a time. Too bad.

Lorraine, you are correct and it is a shame that no one talks on it anymore. Our lives get back to as normal as can be and we forget all about posting just a a word or even a hello. It is a shame too. Hopefully some will start back again. Take care and hope to talk to you soon.

Sharon, I think you will find most people are now communicating on Facebook.

Hi Sharon, Lola, Lorraine and all: I havent made time to get on the internet, but even though I have a facebook account I dont care much
for it. I like this BD WEB SITE. HOW HAS EVERYONE BEEN? SHARON, IF I GO TO ANOTHER REUNION I GUESS IS WILL THINK ABOUT THE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS. WE DIDNT TALK MUCH, BUT IT WAS KIND OF DIFFICULT. E-MAIL ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND MAYBE SOME OF US CAN GO FOR COKE OR COFFEE. I MAY COME UP TO
INDY AT CHRISTMAS. JUST IN THE MAYBE STAGE AT THIS POINT. LOVE YOU ALL, CAROLYN FRANKLIN WILBANKS

Carolyn, and other members of the Class of '64:

Our Class of '65 has an informal pitch-in picnic every fall, and for me at least it's a lot more fun than the formal reunions.

You don't have to worry about seating arrangements - you sit where you want to eat, but you also wander around the picnic, you talk to everybody, you play cards, you pass yearbooks, you laugh at how you turned out.

Tons of fun, and much less expensive than renting a restaurant.

We rent the large pavilion at Meadowood Park in Speedway. It cost $65 for the day (we always have it on Labor Day Sunday), and we put out a "tip jar" and most people drop in a few bucks and that pays the bills.

Check out our photos at http://bdhs65.com

(Who'd have thought we'd be holding a BDHS picnic in SPEEDWAY?! We hated each other!)
