Split Oak and Hickory Firewood

I am looking for at least a cord of split oak or hickory firewood (not oak blocks)for $350 or less.

Don King Landscaping, in Longmont, sells split Missouri Oak and Hickory for $500 per cord. Johnson's Oak & Hickory Firewood, located near Sedalia Missouri, charges about $200 per cord.

Does anyone know a local source of split Oak or Hickory for $350 or less per cord?

I'm thinking of driving to Missouri with a truck to bring back multiple cords. If you might be interested in buying some Oak firewood in the next month, contact me at harryhempy at fullsignal dot net or 303-459-0172.

I have to sell my beautiful land. You may have walked on it.....it's the last parcel you come to when you're walking Hickok Trail on the Y Double K Ranch (adjacent to the Bar-K). I bought it for $407,000 and am selling it for $265,000. This is an incredible price for this piece of land (and, might I add, it breaks my heart to have to sell it). If you're interested please call Lesley Bell, my realtor, at 303 443-3097.

Brand new, not altered, beautiful La Sposa "Fina" wedding gown by Pronovias, COLECCIONES NOVIA 2009
AUTHENTIC - Tags still on!
Color: Soft White
A-line gown with drop waist

DON'T WORRY, THE WEDDING IS STILL ON -- NO NEGATIVE VIBES ON THE DRESS!

Size 18 based on La Sposa's 2008 size chart
~ Their size chart changed in April 2009, this dress was ordered in November 2008 thus it could be considered a plus size. Based on their new chart, this dress now measures between their size 12 and size 14 ~

Measurements: 41 3/4 (bust) x 34 (waist) x 44 3/4 (hips)
Double zipper with built in corset-like thing

Dress has a satin base layer with horsehair hem, organza-like netting overlay, three thin tulle petticoat layers and a very light liner. Multiple layers, but surprisingly very light weight. Great dress for any season. VERY EASY TO ALTER.

WHY?: I am selling this dress because I ordered it November '08, but have lost 20 pounds since then! I have a few different style options available to me now, so I choose a different dress.

I will happily email a picture of the dress. I don't want to post it, just in case Chris checks this QT.

Asking $1,000 but will accept a reasonable offer. I'll even accept payment via PayPal!

Call 3o3.459.o4o6 or email lulu@thewholesomegourmet.com

Please feel free to spread the word to any ladies you may know with impending nuptials! Thanks!

I have a large 60s Danish console/buffet that used to house my stereo, large tv, dvd player but have since switched to a projector. I am looking for a good home for this console - it has lovely grains, rolling tambour-style doors that slide back into the cabinet when opened and it measures 6'8" long by 20" deep by 32" high. It has compartments for speakers, a built-in record player (i never used this), and room for plenty of other storage. It has a few scratches/chips consummate with the piece's age but is in great condition and is a nice solid piece of furniture that should last you for years to come!! Price is $75 and I can deliver. Please email if you are interested or have questions....

I have some ~new (a few years old but barely used) downhill skis and boots that should find a home w/someone who will use them. I've switched to nordic and think it's time to clear these out of my closet.
The skis are 173mm K2 "G4 Patriot" skis with Marker "M5.2" bindings.
The boots (which could be sold separately) are Nordica "N4.7"s. The look/are brand new. I can't find a size marking, but I wear size 9.5 shoes, so that's a good guess.
I also have a pair of poles that I'll toss in.
If interested drop me a line at 3/492-8370 or colowelner [at] gmail [dot] com

Along the lines that its not too soon to be thinking about the Holidays, if you want to compete in the BBQ contest next 4th of July you will need a cooker.

FREE CLASS! It would be a good thing if Santa gave you the pit you need. Ayone want to attend a BBQ 101 class on the various kinds of smokers available? They range in price from less than $50 to more than what some folks paid for their home. Shouldn't take longer than a couple of hours, maybe less. If so, Email me at dt@ncre.biz, or call 303-459-0640.

If there is enough interest I'll put it together. The cost is zero dollars.

FOR SALE--THE AMAZING WOVEL. What's a Wovel you say? It's an odd looking snow shovel that clears away snow 3 times faster than shoveling with half the effort and less risk of injury. See it here: http://www.wovel.com/

It really works as advertised. The only problem is that it doesn't provide much advantage when going up hill like on my driveway. But if you have a relatively flat area to shovel then it's the best manual means without wrecking your back. The only difference between mine and the current model is mine doesn't have the folding frame.

I paid $120 for this marvel of Yankee engineering and am asking $25. It's worth it just to impress your friends when you say you have a Wovel.

Call 3O3 444 8l4O.

Howdy Neighbors!

Here's my new business venture:
LULU'S DOG HIKING SERVICE
A Very Special Service for Very Special Dogs in the Bar-K and Sky Ranch

As things are slowly but surely progressing with The Wholesome Gourmet, I unfortunately do find myself with a bit of time on my hands. I've been spending most of that time trying to build my business and some of it on hikes with our dog, Philbert.

I say "the more, the merrier"! If you'd like me and Philbert to take your relatively well behaved, able to walk off leash pooch on a hike with us for a couple of hours, lemme know! I love all good dogs!

It's a great way to get your dog some well deserved exercise and playtime during the day! I can even do some training if desired. I can work with any reasonable budget.

...a little friendly care sale trivia. The Murano is considered a "crossover" vehicle. Not a full -blown SUV. Not really a "car". Our most beloved SUV's have taken a bad rap lately and you might have more chances to sell if you advertise it as what it "is" a "crossover" Good Luck !
