This can be a great forum for exhange of ideas and a chance for members to educate and be educated by each other. I'm looking forward to seeing the interaction in the local real estate internet community.

Hi Jeff and all:
I think this could be an excellent forum as long as the participation grows. What's the first hot topic?

I have just started to be notified today now of new posts. As far as subscribers, I think we will need to define several discussion sections and then let all choose which sections they want to be involved in. Maybe: 1. Commercial 2. REO 3. Open Houses 4. Broker Opens
Whats everybodys opinion and Jeff is that even possible here.
I need spell check

I would say that is possible... in addition to this general topic forum, any specific topic forum could be created at any time and we could annouce it in the general forum

I think it's ok to break it down into groups, but I, myself would like to be involved in all of the groups. For example, even though I only have one commercial listing, I still would like to know whats going on in that media. I think we should have the option to click on whatever category we want ea. time. As the messages are inputted, they go into the different categories and we can choose what category we want to click on each time.

That's may be more sophisticated than this free service can provide, I'm afraid.
I wanted to keep things simple, however, if we need to do more, like have separate forums and different mailing settings, we can move up to a more sophisticated application.
This one was just VERY easy and with almost INSTANT notification! -Jeff
