sorry about that garbled message. our next match is june 13th, and we will have it in geneva at the cowboy church arena. our calendar also lists "peach state mounted shooter" events, which are held in gainesville, georgia. sorry for the confusion.

Dearest northern Shooters, (Ed, Kathy, and the rest of you happy handle folks)
The Roofcat has been self-appointed to the mounted shooters hall of fame. He is a legend in his own mind (small place they like him there) and after a lot of pleading he has decided to appoint himself to Mr. Mounted shooter 2009 complete with calendar and his own fantasy trip to North Florida to kick some “handle folk tail. Therefore, let there be no mistake when he arrives everyone else will be riding for second place.
Can't wait till sep.

so good to hear from you, newly tamed barn kitty. the ponytail rider must have increased your portion of fancy feast. i guess i should have listened a bit more closely to my uncle bully, an old cracker cowboy from okeechobee county. he told me long ago, when you whip a fella, whip him good the first time or you may have it to do over again. it will be a pleasure to panhandle it to you some more.

Dearest slim shaky,
The “Kitty” is loose, let there be no misunderstanding. I will bet if you were to ask the old cracker he would tell there is two exceptions to the “whip em good” policy. One of them is if it is a Marine (they can’t be beat, they must be killed) the other is a Cat they can’t be herded, trained to command, or beat to submission, they will always come back to kick you’re a$$, that is just the way it is. So talk your trash if you must, the Cat is back you’ll start cuss before its through you’ll see the truth is Cat the Man to get er done

With access to 600 acres of private land, the Panhandle Peacemakers Ranch is a beautiful and fun place to ride. We are in the rolling hills of Northwest Florida, where no shoes are required. We have limited stalls, (you can picket or tie out, bring panels or electric pens)and rv hook-ups and paddocks available. About 1/4 mile away is a campground with full hook ups! You can leave your horse in a stall and get all the creature comforts if you wish. BULLETIN! WE'VE JUST RECEIVED WORD THAT THE RIDE HAS RECEIVED PERMISSION TO USE THE ADJACENT PARK AS WELL! Three Rivers State park has bunches of big shade trees to keep us all cool if we have an indian summer! Your online registration reserves your stall and on site hook up ...first reserved first served. Come ride and get great prizes! We're a "Casual Competition" and not a timed event. You'll have plenty of time to visit on trail with new and old friends while smelling the roses. This is really fun, come try it! Sign up today, it's going to be a hoot! And remember up to 50% of ACTHA's proceeds go to horse rescues in our state! Heaven knows they can use it!
