Just wanted to invite everyone to our trail ride and BBQ on March 15. Last year was great and hope that everyone can come. I'm going to make BBQ and cook some burgers thought that I would make Potato salad and if anyone wants to bring something that will be great. Let me know if you are coming so I can be sure we have enough for all.

Hey, it was great seeing all of you guys in Jacksonville. Dennis and Lily, thanks for being so kind to us. I am certainly happy at the fact that Denise and I were able to make some new friends. You guys are wonderful. Thanks for the trailer tips. Panhandle Slim, as usual it was a pleasure to see you and your wonderful wife. It was very clear to anyone in Jacksonville that we Florida shooters are a very tight knit group of folks. Kinda like family huh? Well, everyone please be safe and as usual take care of each other and be kind and pray. Al

Panhandle Peacemakers would like to announce that registration for our Teen Challenge Series begins April 1st. This three part series will take place May 15th 17th, September 18th-20th, and October 2nd 4th. Each three day event will consist of four double points matches in a single weekend. Thats right, FOUR matches in a single weekend! The first match will be on Friday night, with two matches held on Saturday and one match held on Sunday. Due to the logistics of this new format, entry is limited to the first 50 riders who sign up. As many of you know, Panhandle Peacemakers is a not for profit organization, and all funds in excess of match expenses are donated to Teen Challenge Boys Ranch in Bonifay, Florida. Our goal for 2009 is to raise $6000 for Teen Challenge. We invite you to be a part of this effort. The match flier and online entry form are posted on our website, www.panhandlepeacemakers.com. Please contact me at panhandlepeacemakers@yahoo.com or 850-593-6843 for additional information.

well, we did it! the first of the three part teen challenge saddle series is in the books. i want to thank all of the mounted shooters who came to support us by competing and helping with announcing, range master, score keeping, and all the other chores at this event. we had lots of "gophers" who pitched in and made things run smoothly. i won't name you all, but you know who you are. your efforts are extremely appreciated.
thanks to woody and carmella, saddles tack and trailers mercantile, for setting up shop and for generous donations.
we had some move up wins and qualifying wins to make the trip worthwhile. i will try to post all that info later. results should be posted soon.
thanks again for all the support! it was great!
