We are having a benefit pancake/french toast breakfast on Feb 15th for a family who lost their home to fire this month. All proceeds raised that day will go to the family. Please stop out and enjoy a great all you can eat breakfast with the Columbus Lions.

NOWTHEN LIONS CHARTER NIGHT BANQUET
Please join us on Friday, December 5th for the Nowthen Lions Charter Night. Festivities begin with a social hour at 6:30 at the Backroads Event Center in Nowthen, MN. Then dinner/program will start 7:30 and will cost $20 per person. Tentatively scheduled is the Land Of Lakes Choirboys performing during the social hour, silent auction, and etc.

COON RAPIDS LIONS CLUB ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST
The Coon Rapids Lions Club is having an All You Can Eat Breakfast on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Coon Rapids VFW, 1919 Coon Rapids Boulevard, Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The breakfast will include: pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice. Ticket prices are $5.50 for adults and $4.00 for seniors 62 or better and for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 5 are free.
The Coon Rapids Lioness will conduct a Craft and Bake sale in conjunction with this event.
Used eyeglasses will be collected at this event to be recycled to people in need all over the world.

Lion Don Flynn of the Coon Rapids Cardinal Lions has passed away. His funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. His Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. The Circle Pines Lexington Lions had there Sandburr Golf on Sept 5th 2008 and had 100% participation in the club membership. This is something the club can be proud of. It is not easy to do a project when the whole club can help out
