The postponed Rugby - Watford City Junior Gold game originally scheduled for December 14th is now re-scheduled for Sunday, January 25th @ 1:00.

The postponed Rugby - Fargo Flyers game of Dec. 13th is not yet re-scheduled.

12/13/08 Bottineau-Rugby vs Fargo Angels

Bottineau-Rugby remain undefeated after this exhibition match prior to the
weekend blizzard. Bottineau-Rugby started the game strong, outshooting
Fargo 14-4 in the first period. The last 2 periods were lackluster for the
home team. Goals came from Amsbaugh (2), Hageness (1st of the year), and
Schaan. Monson faced 23 shots. Bottineau-Rugby has a home game in the
Canadian league on Saturday.

The make-up games are now re-scheduled as follows:

Saturday January 10 12:30 Fargo Flyers @ Rugby

Sunday January 25 1:00 Watford City @ Rugby

I would also like to say the same. Thanks for those that zammed, ran clock, ran concessions, sharpened skates and anything else that helped the weekend run smoothly. It was a blast again!! I know next year is a ways away but Xmas falls on a Friday, so I would like to hear back some feeback as to when would be best for everyone to make it back. Let me know as the months go along so we can plan accordingly. Next year the initial plan is to have brand new teams and new jerseys so i would like to get an earlier start. Thanks again for all you who came back!!

Congratulations to the Jr. Gold team they are having a stupendous season!! The Thorson's want to wish you good luck in the State Tourney. We are hoping to be there to cheer you on to Victory!! Go Hawks kick some xvxvxv ICE!

Great representation by the Ice Hawks over the weekend. PeeWees won 1st place at the B1 Tourney in Mandan & the Jr. Gold won 3rd place at their state tourney in Moorhead. CONGRATULATIONS! Good luck to the Bantams as they travel next weekend to their A2 tourney!! GO ICE HAWKS GO!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure how many people read this in the middle of summer but I have already been thinking ahead to the alumni tourney this year. Last year's turnout was pretty poor, especially on Sunday so I hope this year we can step it up. Anyone who is interested or knows people who are interested spread the word along that we need as many people as possible. Kal Triplett, Jeremy Ness, and myself are going to try to work together this year to take some of the responsibility off of Kal. We are tentatively planning to have it the weekend of Christmas again this year but Christmas Day falls on that Friday. Any feedback on the subject would be great.    Oh how I miss the "AL" and calling Ice Hawk games. Let me make a long story as short as possible. I'm back into broadcasting sports via the North Dakota Internet Sports Network (NDISN), www.ndisn.com I want to include the Ice Hawks in our "pre-season" schedule.
