To Whom it May Concern:

I would like to introduce BuyWell Artisan Fair Trade Coffee for
fundraising as a 100% Fair Trade, 100% Organic, 75% Shade Grown, hand
picked specialty coffee roaster.

BuyWell hopes to partner with you to raise money for your specific
cause through a socially responsible and earth-friendly, gourmet
coffee program. More then 150 million Americans drink coffee
everyday, the profit potential for our fundraising program is
significantly larger then most fundraising projects. If 10
participants sell 20 bags of coffee each, the profit for your
organization is $950! You are not only helping your organization, but
are hleping our farmers who provide the beans for us to roast the
quality coffee. Without our help, these farmers struggle to make ends
meet. This is a great way to raise money for your organization, while
supporting the world's struggling coffee farmers.

We have had great fundraising success with various churches, sports
teams, and are currently working with the National MS Society and
Special Olympics!

I would like to send you a folder with information on our company, our
fundraiser offerings, and some samples of our fantastic coffee! If
you are interested, please respond to this email, with an address of
where you would like the coffee delivered. We offer whole bean or
ground varieties. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any
questions you may have. Also, you can obtain information from our
website: www.buywell.org or http://www.buywellfundraising.com

We are members of the Specialty Coffee Association.

I look forward to working together in the near future to support your
casue and our fair trade farmers!

Thank you

Oldtimer hockey has recently seen a huge reduction in numbers, so to help make it easier for people to attend we are trying to change the time that we skate. We are looking at 5pm till 7pm on Sunday evenings. Hopefully this will be a more attractive time frame for those who have to work early on Monday mornings. For a look at the new schedule please go to the rugbyicehawks.net/oldtimers/schedule page on our web site. Hope to get you guys off the couch and into your skates!!!! See you on the ice!

I got a chance to watch the Rugby Junior Gold team play the Fargo Flyers a couple of weeks ago and I was very impressed with the way they performed. The intentsity was great and it looks like the JG team will be a presence in the next couple of years at this level. If the Flyers are the cream of the JG in ND then Rugby has a chance for a great finish at the state level.

Wow what a GREAT weekend it was! It was such an honor to have this named after my husband and to have the nice ceremony in his honor. Having my kids help me drop the puck was a nice memory I will always cherish. Thanks Kal. It was so fun to watch my kids play against each other, watch all the players having fun playing the game they love even though we know they could hardly walk after each game. It was nice to see all the Cando players and seeing their reunion also. I will work on the dvd next week and get it available to you all if possible. I do love recording the games even though I get alittle wild with the camera sometimes. Thanks again all the workers, players, friends and family for the great weekend in Rugby Ice Hawk Arena!  John O'Halon: The arena is not opened year round; sad to say, but if you have some extra money you can part with, you could help us cement the floor and upgrade the plant and then there would be ice 12 months a year - just a thought!! Yes, we have men that are close to your age, 57 ~ right filter?? - there are many more that are younger but there seems to be a good mix of ages. The 'mature' men play every Wed and Sun night for a couple hours. They are not in a league - they scrimmage just for the exercise and the love of the game. Hope this tidbit info helps you!!

It's 6:15am on the 21st of December. My kids and I have been counting down ever since Kal started this plan. Its like "coming home to the family...the hockey family" We have moved around so much in the past 4 years but Rugby will always be home to us. We are deeply honored to have the tourney named after Mike. He so loved to freeze his little ass in the penalty box even the last weeks of his life.
It will be so fun to see everyone and hear about your lives, old times, and future plans. Oh how I do love to visit. I've got my Ice Hawk sweatshirt packed, the camcorder charged and ready, and will be on our way...oh yeah I forgot the hard part... getting the queen out of bed, packed, beautiful, etc. See you at the Arena! PS thanks for all the hard work you all put in for our fun! Hockey Mom X 3

WOW, here I am it is 2:00 am and I am at work not out and about ripping up the town. As I sit at me desk trying to figure out why in the world would I want to put skates on and go chase a little black puck around and be stiff and sore for about 4 weeks is beyond me, I guess you could say I love the game and miss it so much. This touney will be a blast, Hey Ness and Filter I found out in my age that there is a new way to use WINDSOR it is called Windsor Pilates you guys need to try it out. My most favorite times in Ice Hawk history have to be:
1.Kal Trplett breaking my cup during a slap shot incident in a Jr. Gold game. You should have seen the look on Filters face.
2. The time when I dumped Robin Ness just passed the blue line (WOW) you should have seen the look on my face.
3. Does the Al Wentz Arena have heat yet? Cold Days and Nights
4. Coaching all of the great kids what a blast.
5. The smell of the Jr. Gold locker room and how the smell drifted up into the ref's room, and the music (Oh My) can the please turn that stuff down.
Hope to spend time and see you all there. I know I put my skates and stuff somewhere, I will start looking. Ness do you think you can take a little off the edges but not to much..

5 no 6 Ice Hawk Memories:
1. Lois Chandler, Becky Bartsch and myself sitting in the concession area watching the zam go by!! (you had to be there to understand)
2. Painting 4' x 8' advertising signs using the overhead projector!!
3. Every charter bus trip we took to Crosby, Sidney & Watford City - they were awesome.
4. Celebrating in the motel with the Jr. Gold team & parents and the PW team & parents at the 2001 state tournament in Fargo - that's when we really got to know Blair!!
5. Watching Jason, Kal and Kurt play their last game as an Ice Hawk.
6. From Minot to Crosby to Watford City to Dickinson to Fargo to Grand Forks & Grafton, all the friendships that I have made because my boys played the coolest game on earth has been 'priceless'!!

I just touched the surface.....

Thanks Mike for getting this going - I too hope to see a lot of chatter between the past and the present Ice Hawk fans. I keep running into people that are really excited about the upcoming alumni tournament and also getting to watch the jr. gold of the past playing the jr. gold of the present. Help is still needed for the tournament, so please think about signing up to keep score, announce, zam, work in the kitchen, help at the front door and help keep the arena clean. Contact me at bkktkriplett@yahoo.com or btriplett@ramseybank.com to volunteer!!
