Hello Everyone

Just introducing myself and our website maps4pets.com.

We are a not-for-profit website that offers an array of pet friendly holidays around the UK aswell as links to several other countries in Europe, USA, Canada and New Zealand.

Aswell as that there is an interactive map of worldwide dog shows, a complete list of pet friendly outdoor locations/parks and a full list of pet friendly care homes.

We are also running the Kennel Club Charitable Trust Affiliation Programme which is an ideal way for individuals or organisations that wish to raise funds for their particular club, show or charity. This is operational via a free link that may be obtained via our affiliation page from our website.

Finally, we are offering all pet related businesses free links via our links directory.

I hope this will be of interest to your members and look forward to interacting on your forum in the future.

Kind regards

Julia

Hi, Abby Rose!

You and your pets...I mean PEOPLE!...are in for some great fun at puppy school. There is a lot to learn, but I'll make it easy for you (and them!). You'll make many new friends and learn new things that will help you have a happier life.

See you soon!

Peggy

PS--You are very pretty, and I'm sure you are really smart, too.

Hi Sky,

You are so welcome! I'm very proud of you for being SUCH a good boy, and I'm proud of your humans, too! They have worked hard to understand and help you be your very best. You are all a big help to my beginning and intermediate students. I'm sure it is hard for them to believe when they see you now you ever had a naughty moment in your life!

My name is Abby Rose. This photo of me is when I was 7 weeks old. I'm a little bigger now as I am 8-1/2 weeks old tomorrow. My mom is a retired Interior Designer. She's only had one dog before me. She was a border collie, too. My dad still works full time but may retire next year. He has had dogs all his life and he just loved the border collie he and my mom had before me. Unfortunately she had some socialization and aggression issues toward strangers and other dogs. Mom and Dad want to make sure I grow up well adjusted and happy. They were very careful selecting the breeder I came from. They told me if I want to compete in agility, confirmation, rally or obedience I could. Whatever I enjoy most is what we'll do! Mom and Dad are taking me to Wisconsin October 8-11 for Border Collie Nationals. I'll get to meet lots of other border collies and their owners. My breeder will be there with one of my littermates. I'm looking forward to seeing them and playing with my sister again! I hope we have lots of fun in 101 class and Puppy Class. I'm a very sweet and loving little girl. I haven't had time to develop too many bad habits yet. Mom and Dad think I should start learning at a young age and playing with lots of other puppies because it will be very good for me. Mom and Dad have a lot to learn, too! I'm lucky because they're willing to do just about anything for me! I'm looking forward to meeting you and all the other students on Thursday, Peggy! Woof Woof for now!

This is my newest leader, Zoe, she is 2 1/2 years, I am 3 1/2 so I think I know more than she does (boy am I wrong)! I,m just making sure the water if fresh enough for the flowers and watching so she doesn't spill any.

Hi Peggy,

I just wanted to wag my tail and thank you. I had a rough start with my owners. I was only 10 weeks old and I was dominate, aggresive and out of control. My owners were lost and I was in charge--that wasn't working. But, they got real smart and came to you for their training, and I went along. Gosh, it worked great. They are happy and I am happy and we are a team now. So I want to thank you for helping them help me become all that I could be, a kind, loving, and obedient dog. So, all you pups out there and you oldies, whisper in you owners ears to "go see Peggy" for training and you will all be wagging your tails! PS: It does take some work, but it is worth it.

Hi Molly (and Lucy!)

I look forward to helping you with your training. I'm sure you'll do GREAT since you've been through my program before.

Did you notice another Lucy, just a bit below your post? It will be funny if you wind up in the same class!

See you soon!

Hi Peggy- My husband and I have a new puppy, Lucy (see below)and while adorable, she is not training as well as I would like. You helped train our family dog several years ago, a golden named Maggie. She was AWESOME! Lucy is super sweet but very active and while she knows some commands: sit, down, paw, come (sometimes) she is not potty training at all. She pees in our house all the time and with no warning! My husband and I need your expertise to help us with our adorable fluffball. She is going to be huge so we could use help with basic commands and not jumping up on counters or people as well. Can't wait to start helping her on Monday nights!

I'm Teddy and I was written up under Star Students. I am still enjoying classes with Peggy and rolling around in the flowers. Maybe this winter I will become a 'read to the dogs' dog and visit libraries.

Hi Pegg,

We came to you 6 years ago with Sheena who is a mix rotweiler/retriever. She had a lot of behavior issues, wouldn't listen. She is now a wonderful dog and we have enjoyed her company because of the training we received from you. She still doesn't like other dogs, but we know if we put the time into it, she would change. For those prospective customers or frustrated owners, put the time in to mold the dog into behaving the way you want him/her to, it's all about what you are doing or not doing. Mark

Now you can post pictures here on the message board. I'm going to require everyone to log in in order to post, though, so we can keep pictures nobody wants to see off the board.

Hi Terry,

I do remember you, and Radar too. I'm glad to hear he is being a good boy.

Give me a call, if you'd like, and I can help you with new puppy planning. I look forward to working with you, Cody, and the new canine family member soon. You'll have to be sure to bring Radar along for a visit when his new little dog-brother or sister comes to school.

Hi Peggy,
Don't know if you will remember us, but I took classes with you 9 years ago with my dog Radar. He is a great dog thanks to all you taught us. We are ready to get a second dog for my son Cody who is now 10. We would like a puppy, mid size rescue dog. I thought I would contact you in case you know of any great places to look or know of anyone with puppies. Thanks for any ideas. Will probably sign up for one of your classes once we find our new puppy.

HI Peggy! I am your favorite therapy dog. Thanks for all the great training that has lead to a great career. I used to be shy and withdrawn and now I love to socialize with people and patients and I have a great job. Thanks for all your training! Can I come over and have a play date with your dog Buttercup? I have also become quite a "ladies man"!

So what do you do with a dog that swipes your paper napkin off of your guests lap when they are eating? Yep, my Sky.
