The owners of Arlene's Grocery, pioneers who brought music to the Lower East Side, are expanding their horizons into the restaurant realm. The Crooked Knife, a New American spot with a decidedly British bent. Australian-born chef Kelly Quinn will head up the kitchen at this homey haunt with generous seating.
