Hi Colin I bumped into Ian Bieth not long ago in Paisley ! He is working as a janitor in one of the schools He was working down at the primary school next to the RAH ! I will try and find out its name !

thanks bugsy . i believe davy buchan ,ronny robson and john stewart big60 are liveing in plymouth to be honest i havent been there for a long time but in a couple of years when i retire im hopeing to move down there { female interest } anyway enjoy your trip and if you see any of the guys would you give them my regards . thanks . keith

Cheers Keith, nah it was deffo big Jock Mcmillan, he was my training Cpl in Brig O Don before we joined the Bn in Singapore,good to hear Terry is still about though,great guy, got mentioned in Despatches in Aden, Im gonna nip down tae Plymouth in a few weeks tae see some of the guys who decided tae stay there, Ronnie Khun, John Cathcart etc etc,just a wee trip down memory lane

hi bugsy if you mean dirky mcmillan used to be in 6 pln in borneo infact he was my section 2ic section camdr rab curran he died of cancer about 67/68 and last i heard of terry dickson i was told a few years ago by ronny robson that terry was in the police force in nottingham or someware in that area. i know the other guys you are talking about but have no idea what happened to them . keith

does anyone know if Stretch Borthwick (greenock) Lonnie Donegan (Campbeltown)Terry Dickson,Dougie McQuade (Falkirk) and big black Jock Mcmillan are still cuttin about, had some great laughs wae these guys back in the 60s

sorry to hear about Joe and Geordie, we three go back a long way Joe and I knocked seven bells of it out of each other in the inter company Boxing ,and Geordie was in the guard house in plymouth and i was provost Cpl. i took Geordie out at the weeekends to babysit my two boys so that me and Jan could go shopping ,i brought him back a bottle of the vino and a couple of screwtaps , had to carry him back to the jail in the end. couple of great lads i wish them all the very best, and a speedy recovery.
