 Robert,the Ronnie Martin in the photo at Fort Gearge is the one from
 Greenock he was promoted to Sgt in Berlin and ended up W.O.11. I know the
 Ronnie Martin you are talking about I think he was in B.Coy when the
 Battalion was stationed at Kirknewton,yes Robert I was in 3 Plt A Coy.

Hi Guys,this is for Adam Gilbraith,i think i know you Adam,i was in A / Coy 3 Plt,with Ronnie Martin,is it the Ronnie Martin that came from the raploch in Stirling,your on about,I have that photo at fort george,and im quite sure thats not Ronnie 2nd from the left,he was a wee bit smaller than this jock,ive got some photos of ronnie on the computer,i would post it on the site but theres no option for that,or i would.til i here from you Robert Williamson.

Adam.If you want to know where woolie is buried, you"ll have to ask. John Lauder.who I beleave is in Hospital in Paisly after a heart attact. If you know a Billy Simpson he could tell you. I was told he visited him in hospital. John Lauder was with Woolie in NI.I hope this little bit of information helps you ..jimmy..

F./A.O. Stewart Spence,I have been trying to find out where it is that your
uncle Woolie is buried in County Down,I have asked ones at the Castle but
they do not know.I have just come back from N.I.as I was over visiting family,and if I would have known where Woolie was buried I would have visited his grave,so if you don,t mind cane you let me know as I am going
back out for a week shortly.

For Brian Slattery,Ta very much for the reply,it was nice to here about Frank,but not so nice to here about his stroke.can you pass on my regards to him,tell him i was asking for him,does he go to any of the reunions,it would be nice to know when they have them,so i could meet some of the old guys.bye for now.

for stewert spence I knew your uncle woolie well he was a seargent in bcoy then in balaclava coy I was in contact with him often when he was with the udr as the int cell sgt major i had many a good bevie with him and saw him a few times when he was in the ruc he was a great guy not many like him

Hi Eddie,no i wasn't in Berlin that was my other brother John,there was Tam ,Frank,and John,they were all in Berlin,i joined the battalion in Osanabruck, big Tam is not in carrickfergus anymore he is living in Paisley now.
