I've got Vista, XP, Linux, & [the system that shall not be named for fear of mockery] running right now, and I honestly don't know what to tell you.
On Vista, when it works, it works great. When it doesn't, when it has issues, well my gosh. Trying to fix anything is often 6 kinds of impossible, and MS does everything it can to keep you from getting under the hood anyway.
For example, my Vista machine has a tendency, for reasons I cannot figure out, for about half the time the mouse is about 20 pixels out to the North East. I cannot figure out why, and most importantly, I cannot figure out what to do about it, and I have been through every support board and technical article and such there is.
With Vista, you get something that doesn't work quite right, basically you have to live with it.
And you kinda have to have it, because of compatibility issues really.
