Chesley: Thanks to you and your staff for many years of dedication to America's National parks! I have very fond memories from the APPL conference in Portland, Oregon in 2005. You and your staff offered me great hospitality during that event! I cannot play "Pictonary" without remembering that evening gathering! Good luck in your battle with cancer, I know you can beat it!!!!

Chesley:
Both Antoinette and I wish you the very best and hope you are soon able to regain your health.
It has been a pleasure to have known you through the years. You were so helpful to me at the various locations I served during my career for which I am extremely grateful. And it was good to see you at the EN meetings, particularly the one in New Orleans when I had just been appointed as a superintendent to Russell Cave NM years ago. That gave me the opportunity to meet other superintendents out of the Southease Region long before the National Superintendent's Conference in St. Lewis.
Additionally, there were several projects in my parks where EN's contributions to our efforts made a real difference.
Thanks for being a friend and again we wish you a great retirement.

Chesley,
When we all look back on our careers and lives, our main hope is that we have made a positive difference with our families, communities, in the work place, and with the people who cross our paths on a daily basis.
You, my friend, have made a positive impact in all of these areas as a daughter, wife, mother, leader within your church and community, and as a staunch supporter and friend of the National Park System.
You have led the charge in supporting members of the National Park Service family during difficult times, particularly in the aftermath of some of our greatest natural disasters.
On behalf of all of us within the Northeast Region (your home region), We want you to know that you have the support of our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Chesley, Jeff and I both are so sorry to hear of your leaving Eastern National. Although we have only met during the many APPL trade shows we've attended, it was always a pleasure to have you stop by our booth. Working with Eastern National has been a joy due to good work of you and your staff.
Very best of everything Al Barg, Jeff Weisberg, Marc-Martin Publishing

Chesley,
Lou and I always had the greatest respect possible for Eastern National first when it was the Minnucci-Moroz show and then when it became Team Moroz. We also have fond memories of many terrific times together.

Chesley - How wonderful it was to work with you on many projects at Colonial. You kept the goals of education and visitor service front and center, but always within the bounds of cost-effectiveness. That's one reason the Eastern dollars covered so much territory. And your willingness to try new approaches gave all of us the confidence to ask you for assistance to blaze new trails. One example of that was EN doing the new fee collection at Yorktown in the 1990's when, because of hiring restrictions and other problems, we could not have gotten off the ground. Working through terribly difficult times was another of your attributes. The Jamestown Glasshouse would not be operating today if you had not been willing to invest the time, effort and money to keep it alive after the big hurricane. So, Chesley, you should take great satisfaction that your life and your work with EN and NPS has made a tremendous difference for resource preservation in the National Park System and for the American peoples understanding and enjoyment of the national parks. You were the first person I met at Eastern National, almost 20 years ago, when your offices were in Conshohocken. Talk about first impressions! Just reading some of the other messages- you have warmly touched so many people and are truly one in a million. We appreciate your loyalty, trust and the relationships we have built over the years and hope to do so for many more. I wish you much happiness and good health. In this day and age, so many people we never meet, or see, or know about, help us conduct business. We don't always have an opportunity to thank them. We want to take that opportunity and thank you, Chesley, for your work, and we wish you and your family the very best.

Dear Chesley, February 6, 2008 Although we have been doing business for many years, I have only spoken to you briefly two times. I have written eight books on the war, if you will recall The Truth about Slavery is the only one you stock. You made such nice comments about my book, that I have repeated them to other bookstores many times. Thank-you so much for all the help you have been to me, over the years. I hope your retirement years will be filled with happiness and health. God Bless!
Southernly Yours, Gary C. Walker

Chesley,
I know Eastern National will miss your fulltime efforts on their behalf very much. I hope and pray for a miracle regarding your health situation. I appreciated so much your communication early on to me regarding my health situation.
I recall your visit to my home in the first years I knew you. What a delightful individual I found you to be! Through the years during CNPCA and APPL board days, I have admired your judgment and thoughts on the many issues we dealth with. Also, thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity with us.
May God give you and your family the strength, courage, and peace to abide the future, whatever that might be. I am very glad our paths crossed.
In His name, Marian
