SWAT DRAMA AUDITIONS!!

6:00pm until 8:00pm

You may audition for up to five characters......(make sure they're in your gender group!) For a list of parts available (and gender), pick up a bright blue sheet on the table in the Choir Room before next Tuesday! There are a LOT of drama parts, so you stand a good chance of landing one. Give it a shot!

Just a reminder about our SWAT Welcome Back Party this coming Sunday evening, January 3rd at 5:30pm. We'll be meeting in the Choir Room. I'll have pizza and drinks for everyone as we listen to our musical "IMAGE" for SWAT Summer Tour 2010. I'll be passing out the books and CD's of the musical, as well as CD's of some new music that we'll be performing on Super Sundays.

If you know of someone who would like to be a part of SWAT, please invite them to this event. Membership in SWAT is open to all teenagers from Grades 6 - 12. (No, you do not have to be a member of ALBC to be a part of SWAT, but you do have to follow a few basic requirements).

OK.....here we go again. I know I said last week that SWAT would start THIS week....but, alas, it was not meant to be. I have been off my feet for several days now with an ever-increasing pain in my lower back and legs. The doctor has ordered me to stay off my feet until I can have an MRI done and determine what's causing this pain. The x-ray I had taken on Monday shows some "disc disease", whatever that means.

SO..... once again we will have to postpone the startup of SWAT. I am SO sorry this is taking so long. I appreciate your patience and most of all your prayers. I'll keep everyone posted as to when we'll be able to resume.

I need your help in getting the word out. SWAT is supposed to resume this coming Wednesday, September 23rd.
HOWEVER.... Dawn's mother just passed away with this morning, and we will be having to leave for Georgia to be with the family there.
THEREFORE...... SWAT will NOT resume this coming Wednesday, September 23rd. We will have our first SWAT rehearsal on Wednesday, September 30th.

Please text and call and email all your SWAT homies and let them know about this change. Thanks for your prayers.

Just a reminder that the SWAT 2008-2009 Season has officially ended with our Home Concert last Sunday evening.....(which was incredible)!.... or should I say... "sick nasty"?

SWAT will not meet again until we resume our 2009-2010 Season. This will be on Wednesday, September 23. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Hope to see our numbers increase next year! Invite your friends to join us.

GREAT Tour, SWAT...... but it ain't over YET! See you all at church this morning, and then this afternoon at 3pm.

ASSEMBLY THIS AFTERNOON at 3pm in the sanctuary to start setting up for the Home Concert tonight! Be there!

Don't forget to wear your blue travel shirt this morning.... yes, even if it's dirty (or smelly) or both! :)

Sat - August 1 - DRESS REHEARSAL (Sanctuary) 8am until Noon
                  (Parent Meeting immediately following rehearsal)
