MAMATAZ - I've been here, but I think Facebook has stolen the wind right out of our quaint little rock n roll community until the novelty wears off and people decide to get back to some simplicity (or maybe not), lol.

Good choice for a video though, I likes Y&T very much! I still like 'In Rock We Trust'...I don't know why they have this CD discontinued, it's one of there best one's. You can still order it from certain outlets from Amazon.com.

KENN - That Robert Plant 'Big Log' video sure takes me back and makes me think about simpler times. Maybe I'll listen to that tonight while I work on stuff. Hey, did I ever tell you that I got the 'Bladerunner Ultimate Collector's Edition' last year? It's great!

** I guess we have the CirKus 'Annual No Class Reunion' this Saturday night at the ABYSS. Shortly after that, from what I understand, Troy is planning on leaving to Phoenix to pursue new goals (or possibly just get out of the cold) and get a break from here I suppose; whether permanantly or temporarily, I'm not sure. This town will definitely miss him here and so will the music scene. Some people probably won't "get it" until after he's left for awhile and wonder where all the support went, lol.

I'm staying home tonight. My son is sick, which half of you know already. He was in the hospital yesterday with a meningitis scare. They did a spinal tap on him, and all the test came back negative. He couldn't move his neck at all till they did that. He is still having fevers, all in all though he feels so much better then yesterday, and has improved so much in just the last four hours. It was just some freak viral infection is all they could figure out. All the blood work and other test showed nothing. I wonder how long it will take before the hospital gets that bill out. I bet its a hell of a lot quicker then it took then to get around to seeing us. For being an emergency room, they sure took their damn sweet time!!

Yeah, maybe do a FB Salt Lake Rock City page. That would be cool.

As far as a Facebook site for SLRockCity goes, I've actually have been pondering the idea for awhile now. But one of the main reasons for having this message board is that it pretty much runs itself... otherwise, on Facebook, I'd spend a lot of extra time accepting friend requests and all of that extra headache. The one cool thing about it would be that people could use their cell phones to send current pictures and messages to the SLRockCity Facebook Wall so people could see what's happening in real time; plus, it's free; so that is two pluses there! Who knows, maybe it'll happen, we'll see I guess.
