We have just been checking out the re-vamped CSD website - very nice. However I am horrified to see that my photo has been taken off the front page!!! We are still part of the club and we will be riding for CSD when we do the club events so pretty please can I go back on? :-(

Thanks for the suggestion Johnny. I must admit midweek cycling has always been training or racing, I certainly haven't thought about doing a "club-run type of ride in the evening. I'll see what everybody ese thinks and maybe try one soon.

Have you ever considered running a mid week ride on maybe a tuesday or wednesday. Most ctc clubs do this normally from about 18.30 to 11ish with a stop at a pub not far from home. It would nice especiallly on the lovely evenings to get a ride together mid week as its sometimes a struggle at the weekends with kids etc!

Great article Ann. I was keen to ride at Newport, but didn't get round to it, like a lot of things just lately. It is wonderful and I would recommend it to everyone to have a go. It's just he same riding above the bue line as it is below it - and 82 is the exact gear for anyone.

Regional School of Racing - South West Region

South West Talent Team coach Stuart MacDonald is pleased to announce plans for a Regional School of Racing session which will be held at Stover Caravan Park, near Newton Abbot, Devon on 1st March. So if you are looking to improve your technical skills before the race season kicks off, this could be the session for you.

The session will take place on the 1st March and will start promptly at 10am, and will finish at 12 midday. Riders are expected to use their own road bike, and come suitably dressed for the conditions on the day - Rain will not stop play!!

The cost of the session will be covered by British Cycling and all you have to do to reserve your place is email stuart at stuartmacdonald@britishcycling.org.uk giving him your name, date of birth and club.

Places are limited to 40 riders so book early to avoid dissapointment. Registration will close one week before so make sure you register before the 22nd February.
