I found your review to be complete and I don't see anything lacking in your review.

I believe this review covers everything as well and I would make no changes.

Great review! I felt like it included everything that was required. The only thing I could suggest is your best feature has a chart for contact comparisons that maybe could have a link. Otherwise I thought your review was very inclusive and informative.

I found your general view or opinion of it very vague. You gave a description of it but didn’t give your opinion. Also there was no signature on it.
I felt like your relating it back to our A&P class was good. I also liked your best features and that you added links.
Great topic! I used to be a contact lens wearer and found it very informative.

Your review covered all requirements.
What I liked in your review is the specific explanation of the feature of your website. The chart that shows comparison seemed to be really effective for people who concern about their contacts.

This website is small but it offers a lot of information on extended wear contacts. It is posted by Eye care source which is run by a doctor named Anthony Hill. The site is most likely a funnel for new patients. At the end of the article there are several links to “contact an optometrist” or “buy contact lenses” all of which link back to Anthony Hill in one way or another.
The website covers the anatomy and physiology of the eye and how to care for it. It explains the pros and cons of extended wear contacts as well as health related issues involved with wearing contacts. It explains that the cornea needs oxygen to stay healthy and why extended wear contacts can help. Contacts can be made from different material; this site explains how two different materials work to let oxygen to the eye.
The best feature of this website is the fact that it has several links to different eye care subjects like eye diseases and nutrition. http://www.eyecaresource.com/diseases/
Another good feature of this website is the links to related articles at the bottom of the page. This page only deals with extended wear contacts but there are links to articles that explain daily wear contacts http://www.eyecaresource.com/contact-lenses/daily/ and a contact lens overview http://www.eyecaresource.com/contact-lenses/overview/.
The worst feature of this sight is the annoying in text popup ads. The other thing that bothers me is the lack of images or diagrams.

This website was created by Mayo Clinic staff. It’s a well put together website with good eye care tips and links to other eye care sights. They also cover topics like how to choose the best type of lenses for your needs. I feel they are putting up this information to better help individuals care for their vision. The Mayo Clinic is a health center that specializes in many different health related subjects.
This webpage relates to the basic anatomy and physiology of our bodies by covering the health and enhancement of our eyes and vision. The cornea must be able to “breathe” to stay healthy and this website offers information for contact wearers on the ideal way to correct their vision while letting the most oxygen to their eyes.
The best feature of this website is the comparison of different contact lens options. A chart compares seven day lenses to 30 day lenses to hard contacts that in most cases need to be taken out daily. Another good feature of this website is a diagram labeled “the anatomy of the eye”. It’s a popup with no link that I can post here but it is easily accessed through the main page. The diagram shows a cut away view of the eye ball with labeled parts. The worst thing about this site is how they constantly tell you to consult an eye care specialist instead of just giving you the information to figure out yourself. Another flaw with this website is the lack of images. I would like to see drawings or pictures to reference some of the information they are telling me. The diagram of the eye is really the image on here.

All these sites are posted to inform viewers about contacts, eye care and choosing the correct lenses to fit one's needs.

Brian, interesting topic. three of your links do not open because they don't have the http:// Be sure you copy your links directly into your posting. Your descriptions also do not tell us who is posting these websites or why. The one that does open seems interesting with some good basic info from what is a fairly important institution in this area.

Your peers have found your other websites and provided some feedback.

Your peer feedback is very minimal. Please be sure you give this assignment the time and attention it needs.

Because I use contacts lenses, I thought there is only general information in this website.
http://www.allaboutvision.com/contacts/extended.htm
I have never heard that we can wear contacts lenses for 30 days, but I personally want to know how they arranged contacts to wear 30 days.
www.eyecaresource.com/contact-lenses/extended/
There is lots of helpful information about extended wear eye contacts, and I was impressed how they work on eyes. However, I want to know whether there are any problems to wear these kinds of contacts or not.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/contact-lenses/WL00010
This website is great, and lots of information gives us what should we know before purchasing eye contacts.

I don’t wear contacts so I was unaware the they could actually damage your eye and that protein could build up on the lenses. I think this website could have been a little more focused on extended wear contacts.
www.allaboutvision.com/contacts/extended.htm
Wow I had no idea you could leave contacts in for up to seven days that is pretty amazing. This is a good website because it tells you all about extended wear contacts. I think it could have went into some risk factors as well.

www.eyecaresource.com/contact-lenses/extended/
I like this website because it goes into detail on what makes extended wear contacts safer than other contacts. This article also states that although these are the most convenient they are also the most risky, other than that I couldn’t find any reasons backing the statement.

 www.mayoclinic.com/health/contact-lenses/WL00010
This website tells you that a risk factor of wearing contact lenses is eye infection. There was some information on extended wear but most of the information was comparing different types of contact lenses.

This is a good website. It has good general information. Didn’t go into much detail about extended wear lenses though.

www.allaboutvision.com/contacts/extended.htm
This was also a good website. Not only was the information directly related to extended wear lenses but gave a brief history of them also. I had to work to get the website up, it didn’t highlight so I could click on it.

www.eyecaresource.com/contact-lenses/extended
This was a very short Website. It did have good but brief information on the subject. I didn’t feel like it gave enough information about risk factors or damage that can happen.

www.mayoclinic.com/health/contact-lenses/WL00010
I liked this website. It has good information on not only all types of lenses but also on infections and how to care for them. It didn’t focus on extended wear lenses.

I chose extended wear contacts. This subject is relavent to the special senses (vision) segment of this semester. I also wear contacts.. for months on end, and love it, but im concerned about any long term damage this might cause.
