I am having a hard time with the labs, especially "Combining Properties of Nickel and Dimethylglyoxime." I am in the Monday lab, and Calvin has been great about answering my questions, but I get pretty frustrated when the equipment doesn't work right and I run out of time, as I have a 3 hour class right after lab. Sometimes I am late for it, and last week missed a quiz in my 5:00 PM class because the chem lab ran over (due to faulty equipment). This past week when I was trying to do the graphs, I had a lot of difficulty. I'm afraid that I don't understand the workbook, either.

I worked in a lab in Washington for the past 10 years (and did quite well) and got "A's" in CHEM 1501 this past spring, so I know that I'm not an idiot. I don't know what it is that I don't understand, so I am finding it difficult to ask the right questions to find out what I don't know.
