All items need to be at the UNC Mens Crew Tent by 7:00 AM Saturday morning. Please post what you plan on bringing. 2) Those in the Triangle area can drop the items off at the Boat House on Thursday Evening between 6:00 & 7:00 PM. These items will travel with the truck and boat trailer. Please Post what you are planning on bringing to the Boat House.
We are trying to get a handle on what the true cost is for these events. If you can please let me know what the items cost you we can get a better idea of what the cost is to feed the crew at events. This information will be a big help for us to create a budget for next years events.
Thank you all for your help and support.

Bill --
I went ahead and bought some water this past weekend for the trip. Have currently:
2 cases of 35 bottles each 4 gallon jugs (no spouts)....is that OK?
Also have from Lake Lure trip (and still fresh): 3-lbs cheese of different varieties
I will pick up 3 dozen bagels, cream cheese, and all bread loaves in New Jersey. Found a great place that makes 'em all fresh, on my way to race venue.
One last question: Do you want to pick up perishables in NJ on Friday evening? Or do we have a means of keeping food cold for the trailer-trip up there? I'll have a fridge in my room in NJ, so either way works for me. I can also store items overnight if needed, and can pickup whatever is not shipped up on trailer, when I arrive on Friday.
Thanks, Denis (919) 247-4876

The gallon jugs of water will work. please brin the cheese to the boat house on Thursday. We will have cooler packed with ice (dry ice) to send up to Cherry Hill with the crew. Fresh Bagels sound good to me.
Thanks Bill Faison

We will be bringing them to the venue. Also, do you need anyone there early (to deal with breakfast, etc). If so, just let us know. Michele and I will be driving down from No Jersey.

Bill --
Bagel store opens at 6:45AM (with a little arm-twisting...). I should arrive at venue around 7-7:15AM.
Will bring cheese and other items to boathouse on Thurs.
I take it we're not doing eggs for breakfast....is that true?
Thanks, Denis

The start times for the races is not available online anywhere, but the general schedule is to have heats and semis on Saturday with the finals on Sunday morning. Last year, the frosh/novice 8+ was event #25 and the varsity 8+ was event #33, but I don't know if that is necessarily the order that they were started in. I will post on here as well as the schedule on the website as soon as we know the schedule, if we get one ahead of time.

We are booked at the Crowne Plaza both Fri and Sat so will be at the tent by 6:45 Sat to help. We will be bringing the shredded cheese, eggs, muffins and chili. I plan to go to Costco before I head down on Friday so will check to see what else is still needed. As I recall the venue is all dirt/mud and heavy rain is predicted so I will bring a tarp for the ground. Bill - Do you want us to bring an extra grill? Pray that the weather forecast is wrong!!
