Well, first off, I have to say great job with the reviews. I believe we all had to have patience to do it and nicely done. Your reviews were amazing! What I liked most about it is the blatant honesty you have in it. I don't know if I could "insult" a website that I picked to review, but your view of Wiki was awesome. I see nothing wrong with this review and good work with it. Your other review was also really amazing. All of the info is correct and easy to access. I know I would want a personal story in my website to understand more. The websites were amazingly accurate to your descriptions and good job!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_sclerosis-Adam Stehower First thing I see on this website is just tons and tons of information about Multiple Sclerosis. I started at the top and read down the website and found out that this website isn't original and that its contents are made completely by 58 different references. Now that I have learned that this couldn't all be facts but just taken from other web pages, I would say that this website is my weakest website that I posted. The people that run Wikipedia put this information up for anyone who doesn't know much about MS and would like to inform them about what it is and what kind of treatments are available. I would like to post more information about this website but it is very basic in its information that anyone could log onto the internet and find another site just like it. I would like to see more solid information and would also like to see more effort put into it. It seems to me that someone just went to other websites and just copy/pasted to this one. A good thing about it is that it DOES show some basic info that might help someone out if the needed.

www.MayoClinic.com, Tools for Healthier Lives. -Adam Stehower First, I would like to say that this website is really amazing for its overall knowledge of MS, or Multiple Sclerosis. When reviewing this website I could easily find an introduction, Signs and symptoms, Causes, Risk factors, all the way down the list to when to seek medical help and Treatment and Self-Care. The pages just go on and on about in-depth information on MS. The Mayo Clinic staff writes all this information to better the knowledge of people about MS and to help those who have MS see what kinds of things they will go through in the present and future. When opening this website, the first thing you see is the introduction and a box above it with all the different tabs you can click on for a number of different pages showing great information on MS. In multiple sclerosis, the body mistakenly directs antibodies and white blood cells against proteins in the myelin sheath, a fatty substance that insulates nerve fibers in your brain and spinal cord. Which goes back to the basics of your spinal cord and nerves in worst cases being shut down and unable to perform specific tasks in some parts of the body. A few of the really great things about this website is that my grandfather had MS for a number of years and then he ended up dying from this terrible disease and because of this website I know exactly what was going on inside of his body and why he wasnt even able to come outside and go swimming with me or play catch. Really, the only bad thing I see about this website is that it doesnt tell any personal story of an MS victim or the victims family. I think in order for people to care more about a subject in the medical field, you need to hit their hearts with a story of whats happening right now in our world.

the first website, the webmd site: a few things that are distracting for me is it's so much advertising and 'busy'ness, but other than that, i love the glossary of terms and all the links to stories. it's definitely a site i could get lost in getting information.
the second website, wikipedia: a great page for general information and i loved the illustrations and pictures included. i think for a topic as big as yours, tho', it would be better to have a more specific, personalized site, as Dr. Frolich suggested.
the third website, the ms society: again, a very busy site. i get distracted too easily! but i like the opportunities behind the site and information that is there. i feel this site is again too general. a lot of the same information is in the web md and wiki site.
the fourth website, mayo clinic: i love this site! it's so informative and easy to navigate. (not so 'busy!') i think your websites are great and they have TONS of information. i really like the idea of hearing a more personal story tho'.
Great job, Adam!

Adam, interesting topic and websites. Be sure you tell us who is posting each site and why, per assignment instructions.
You have all major websites, like MS society, Mayo Clinic, WebMD. Wikipedia is just an encyclopedia article. You really need a minor site like someone's personal story or a newspaper article for one of your reviews...let me know if you need help finding this.
I saw your peer feedback in other color groups--did you do one person from each color group or something like that?
I think one of your peers at least should also provide a bit more feedback, along with Heather who does a good job seeing the good side of these sites.

I don't mean to repeat myself, but MayoClinic is a really good website and 100% informative and easy for me to follow. I love using it, great job Adam! Your second site was hard to follow. It was more for people who have MS, but not for those who want to know what it is. It did have some basic info and was a cool site, but I need more to follow and this one was hard.
What to say about Wikipedia. The info can change daily, and although this website was great, it seemed to copy/paste itself rom a real med source, one I would like to know about. I have issues with it although most if not all its info is accurate. Web MD! What to say, use it once, you'll never be lost again, good info on MS, and great following. I was able to access everything without the fluff. Cool stuff!

http://www.webmd.com/multiple-sclerosis/default.htmFrom symptoms to treatment options, find in-depth information to help cope with multiple sclerosis on this website. WebMD is a great site for any questions that you may have about MS, or any medical related topic.

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/multiple-sclerosis/DS00188This website is a very great website of telling the basic information on MS. It tells us that MS is a chronic, potentially debilitating disease that affects your central nervous system, which is made up of your brain and spinal cord. And also that the disease see's the Myolin Sheath as foreign to the body and sends in white blood cells and antibodies to the protiens contained there. This results in inflammation and injury to the sheath and ultimately to the nerves that it surrounds.

I'm doing my topic on MS, or Multiple Sclerosis because my grandfather had this disease for many years and ended up dying from it. I hear more and more people everyday are getting MS and I would love to know more about it so I can understand what exactly happened/is happening to these people.
