I am the new principal at Rye Junior High School in Rye, NH. My school board has had our counselor do a gender study looking at grades and standardized scores. Have any of you dealt with this issue?

My name is Sandra and I am a Middle School Teacher in Westbrook, Maine. There is a new topic called "Middle School Mathematics" that I have started and hope you have time to respond. I am very sure that I do not have all the answers. Therefore, please feel free to present questions for discussion and maybe somebody out there will be able to make a suggestion that will help you or maybe you will be able to say something that will lead another teacher to a solution to their question.
