Hi Guys,
Does anyone know of any community activities/groups for young adults in the Tilton/Franklin area? I'm starting to run out of ideas and have been searching for these kind of things, but haven't been having much luck. Any suggestions are most appreciated! Thanks.

Hi Everyone,
I'm still a little new to the area and would love to have some suggestions of local places to go for a picnic or a walk on nice days. I'd also love to hear about low cost activities in the area that people might like to visit, I am running out of ideas and want to keep the days interesting. Thanks!

I strongly encourage all of you to check out Carespace.com. It has been founded by my brother-in-law who's daughter has special needs. The goal is to create a networking forum in which caregivers can share information and stories. It is still in the beginning stages, but Carespace has the potential to change the world of caregiving.
Check it out, let me know what you think at Holly_Bisner@yahoo.com! I will be relaying feedback to my brother-in-law as he and his colleagues continue to work on the site.

Hello to all. I wanted to let any and all to know about a documentary I have just seen. It is on HBO this month. It is called "Autism-The Musical". It is about The Miracle Project. It shows you a group of children with various forms of autism and their families, who embark on a journey to create a musical about who they are and what they can do. It is very moving. I laughed and cried at the dedication these gifted young people showed. Here is the link for anyone interested in checking this great "miracle".

Thanks.

Monday night I saw the documentary "Including Samuel" followed by a Q & A with the Samuel's dad, who compiled the film. It will be shown at the Red River Theater in Concord this week and I highly recommend seeing it (it's only $5). Although the film concentrates on the inclusion of people with disabilities in public education, Samuels family is local and it was interesting to see their hopes and fears for his life as a person with a disability in our community. Great new theater too! Edited 11-13-2007 03:11 PM
