Layla, i agree with Heather that this is a "awesome" topic. And a very difficult one to take on because there is no big NIH institute or national non-profit organization that makes such a good major website. I also agree the wikipedia article can be good as a starting point, but the websites that are here don't really define or clear up the topic for me.
I understand "body work" to be a whole range of types of alternative therpies that might include yoga, rolfing, all kinds of massage, breathing techniques, maybe even acupuncture, but more related to movements. You might use this Wikipedia article as a starting point, and then ask which of these therapies or sites relate it back to proprioception.

Then, the question is are we talking about body to work to improve proprioception itself, or taking advantage of proprioceptive input to help with other health issues.
I don't want to discourage you becasue it is just a fascinating idea...and I love your justification that focuses on how amazing it is that touch and proprioception are the only input we get. But just find a couple of these bodywork sites that deal with proprioception and you're all set. Let me know if you want some more help with this,
