Hey, anyone heading to Reno have room for a bike and gear bag? I would love to go but can't take the time to drive down and back. I will fly down and rent a car and hotel in the area. Thanks, Mark Bianchini #99

Jr , have a safe trip back east.
Longview was the best I think I have ever seen it in three years. It was awesome conditions. LOTS LOTS fun.
Getting prepared for RENO. Leaving Wed night right after the OldTimers meeting.
See you wednesday night at meeting. New location remember.

Reno trip Been all sorts of ways. Most of the time take the I-5 ,cut over just south of eugene,Klamath Falls ,south to Reno, its a simple drive, watch fot deer along the way around susanville area. Fun Fun race great track,Mitch you forgot about the other pek of early sign up,you get free "WHINE" in a bottle! They do a really nice job on dinner on par with Canada. Mitch agree with you on the crowd at Washougal on Sat,Sunday race ,next weekend Top Gun should be pretty busy,we are skipping and just showing up for the Sunday Pacific NW race.Checking w/Annie to see if necessary to race glenn H as Am or not?? points are that close?maybe?!!!Heading out Mon for East "only 42 hr drive" JR

Hey Robin,
I will be heading out at 9a till about noon I think. Jo Anne has been in Lynden for a week with her mom and dad and gets back around 3-4p.
Kevin Ems and Kevin Powell I think are going to Washougal tommorrow.....
Also email me your number, Bill said he doesnt know his schedule on monday and tuesday. We are leaving right after the meeting Wednesday. So I was going to bring my bike and gear bag over monday or tuesday after work. As Bill said you guys could haul to Reno for us.
We will get there thursday and put up banners and pit area.

We have our hotel reservations now, at the Grand Sierra except for Saturday night in which they are booked up so we might camp at the track that night or find a hotel in Fernley.

Hi Deb and I have a high top brown van with a pull out awning so we don't need much room. We will likely be making the drive out from Reno both days as we have our 2 little shitzu dogs and according to Deb they like plushy Hotel rooms.
Hope to see you all there

Just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone well that is going to the Fern. I raced down there twice last year and enjoyed the track immensely. I lived in Reno for quite awhile some years back, so it was fun to see some of the "ole" gang.
The back is recovering very well and I have been able to do quite a bit of physical laboring and not have it bother so I am very happy. Great doc if anyonw is unfortunate enough to need a referral
Enjoy the racing and keep the shiny side up. Bryon

To answer your questions.
If you pre register you get a free t-shirt. Otherwise it is $85 either way. Friday night they will register people.
If you want to park with us at the track, we will be right close to starting line with Oregon Old-timers banners up.
Let me know what type vehicle you have to make space.
We actually stay at the Super8 right in Fernley Friday and Saturday. Its like 3 minutes across the freeway from track. Its only $70 per night. That is easier than driving every day to 40 miles one way Reno.
We are like you after the race we are going to stay and mini vacation and will move to Reno or somewhere.
If you want to email me at webmaster@oregonoldtimers.com and I will give you my cell to stay in touch.
