Season 5 part 2 of Nip/Tuck was the most shortest season yet and I have to admit, I did not particularly, agree with that, but all as well, ends well. There really was no villian in this season, seeing as the first episode of part 2 showed us how Sean stabbed and killed Colleen. Not bad for a storyline ending to kill off a villain. I didn't get why Sean was in a wheel chair when the entire time he could walk. I guess he wasn't ready to operate and wanted to be taken care of for awhile. The wedding between Christian and Liz, that didn't really set will with me. Don't get me wrong, it was not bad. Christian just doesn't seem like the married type. He's a swinger and a player.

Season 5 part 1 of Nip/Tuck was one of the best seasons I have seen. I liked the lesbian storyline between Julia and Olivia. Matt & Kimber's relationship took a backseat, and really they weren't meant to be anyway.
I liked the cliffhanger that ended part 1 of this season, where Colleen the crazy agent who was stalking Sean and becoming obssessed with him, later snuck into the OR where Sean was operating on Annie from a car incident that also bung up Christian, leaving him with an arm cast, and Colleen stabbing Sean in the back like 4 or 5 times and he falls to the floor, coughing up blood, lying in a pool of his own blood.

SW, season 6 will be split into two separate parts.

I liked Teddy's character of just being wild.... up until they made her a double-life killer. I can't argue with the twist but haven't we been there and done that?

I think Christian genuinely cares for Liz and vice-versa but there's no way Christian would stay faithful now that he knows the truth about the test results.

It would be funny for him to allow Kimber to gold dig her way into his life only to laugh in her face in the end. ;)

This was a pathetic ending to a pretty disappointing season. Was that really the best they could come up with? Did anyone question whether Christian was going to be ok? And now what is he going to do about being married to Liz? I think he really does love her, but not romantically, and will he really stop messing around? He just got his second chance at life. But you never know, maybe this changed him, even though I liked him much better when he was a total jerk! I think they could have made a big twist when Kimber stood up in church, meaning she could have shot Liz, not enough to kill her, but then Christian would have really struggled with leaving her. And the "story line" of Teddy being a murderer. Where's the big shock in that? I hate her character. Luckily Julia really hasen't been in the season. She's too annoying. So what's the deal, only one more half-season like this?

I looove this show but I thought it somehow classier than these ploys- it costs more to buy the seasons that way and extends limited lifespan. The writers' strike was very unfortunite but hopefully everyone will pull it together so it will seem like two awesome seasons combined.. When it returns Next Year and the year after that?

Ja, ja, ja. Told you guys it was all a medical mistake. There's no Nip/Tuck without Christian, as well as there's no Nip/Tuck without Sean. We can live without the rest of the cast, but these two guys are the essence of the show.

There's no way that Christian's dying. It probably is that his doctor gave him somebody else's results. The show will sink without him.

There are no seasons beyond the sixth season which will be split into 2 parts.

Nip/Tuck season 5 ended poorly in my view. I am a big fan of the show and have kept up with it since season 1. I didnt like the ending for season 5 where the crazy lady stalked Dr. McNamara and wounded up stabbing him several times in the O.R. while Annie was under anesthesia and Liz went to fetch gauze and tape. Sean was left on the floor bleeding to death and that woman stood over him with a bloody knife. I hope next season does better and will have a happier ending. P.S. I didnt like Julia going into a coma and waking up not remembering anyone either. And whats the deal with Matt having a sister and liking her? I dont know.

The new season starts on Jan 2009. I don't know exact date, but I do know in January. It's only going to be eight episodes. Then another season won't start till sometime in 2010.

Speaking of missing characters, where did the publicist go (can't remember her name)? She completely disapeared from the show without any explanation.

This is yet another example of how badly written this season is.

Another missing character and this one showed promise, was that dominatrix played by Tia Carrere. When Sean was left staring at the card she gave him, it looked like she might turn up later in the season. But no, the writters prefered to introduce characters like Colleen (which everybody loves to hate) and Miss Melba Toast.

I agree with katiekatie. The show, though I am avid viewer, has lacked the original elements as you said. I definitely do miss the original episodes where Sean and the fam are at home and dealing with all of Christians whore-escapades. It was a much simpler time, but a good time!!! LOL.

I know I keep bringing this up BUT doesn't it seem weird that NOBODY is trying to fight Kimber from pretty much illegally not letting Matt see Jenna - but they still will operate on her - even though originally after that one surgery that Christian did she said Matt could have the baby? Season 5 seems to be missing the elements that got us hooked on Nip/Tuck in the first place. Sean as a family man, Christian as a smooth operator, and interesting medical cases. It is fun and comletely outrageous, but I don't mind missing an episode now.

Season 5 was utterly ridiculous and over the top, but that's why we as viewers continue to watch it, no matter how much we complain about it. I thought there was too much going on, and the writers did a poor job of tying up loose ends. But I will give them one thing - just when you think they won't go "there", they do! How many more f'ed up relationships does poor Matt have to endure? How freaky is the Colleen character? I will never be able to watch old episodes of QAF ever again! And if Shawn lives through this brutal stabbing, shame on the writers - there was a gallon of blood pouring out of his mouth! I tripped and fell when I got off my couch because my jaw was dragging on the floor!

Like if Nip/Tuck screenwriters are still worried about "possible"...

I just watched the last epsiode. I've watched nip/tuck since the very first episode of the very first season and I'm still in shock after having watched season 5. It went from bad to plain pathetic.

Even tough I believe that either they changed screenwriters or the old ones are on crack, they just can't kill Sean. There is no show without him. Even if they wanted to add more of that pathetic attempt at drama we've been watching for the whole season, they wouldn't pick such a lame set for Sean's stabbing and let alone that tacky music (I hope...) The whole scene looks and feels so absurd and out of place that it must be some kind of dream or something like that. Also, why are they making the plot so predictable?!!! The moment Liz leaves the room you just know something bad is going to happen! I was watching it and was thinking "'cmon, lets get on with it so that I can go to bed".

As for Julia, if the producers have some brains left, they will give Julia her memory back and get rid of Eden. I believe most viewers are tired of her, no matter how hot and sexy she may be.

Finally, a request to the people who write and produce Nip/Tuck: Stop turning my favourite show into some cheesy "South American soap opera LA style"!!!!!!!!!

remember Ollie is a accu puncturist... i think eden cofessed the whole thing to her mommy and she stuck a needle somewhere in julias head so that she wouldnt remember anything... not sure if thats really possible but hey... anyway remember right after julia woke up eden had to talk to her mommy abou t something and then all of a sudden ollie was the first one there at julias side... anyone agree...

This whole season was a total disappointment.. the plot lines were stupid and now the writers and producers seem to be promoting incest.WTF!!! Nothing in this season is worth salvaging. This enitre season should turn out to be a bad dream. Unlike season 4 I will not be rushing out to purchse the DVD..

I think that Julia is faking her amnesia. Something was up when Eden told her mother something before they went to the hospital. Definately a screwy show, and have been watching since day 1. I do know if Sean is dead or not, but I think Eden is up to no good.

We wont know what happens to Sean until next season. Nip/Tuck likes to end with cliff-hangers ;)

so sitting driving my g/f nuts, she's afraid someone here knows what really happens to sean... my suggestion (haven't seen written yet) is that it's the final episode of Hearts & Scaples for Sean so that he's out of his contract. That's the only one that really can leave any kind of responsible excuse for him to survive and continue the show.

Maybe they all have "away" nannies instead of live-in nannies or the Mcnamara/Troy facility houses them all? Or maybe Colleen has them all? They should devote a whole episode to this!!! LOL.

I have been watching this show for a long time and I am a big fan although I find laughter in the fact that the kids are always missing and then they reappear. Annie seems to be around more this Season but where the hect is that other kid with the "physical deformity?" I think his name is Aiden but I can't remember.

Where is the "other son?" Who takes care of this kid and where is his living. He wasn't at Ollie's or Sean's houses.

Nip/Tuck is getting worse since the end of Season 2 and this season was ALL just pure crap, plain and simple. Many many many reasons not worth listing...

Season 5 was a huge letdown. Poor writing. Weak story lines. The season finale was terrible. I think Nip/Tuck has run out of ideas. Don't be surprised if the series is canceled.

well everybody is making good points about this episode,im out of idea's,so we all know that there will be amazing twist to this next season,wth colene on the loose,the carver still out there,eden after julia,im just completley pumped up for season 6

one more- as far as the car wreck- the truck hit the julian and annie on the passenger's side- and somehow julian ended up with a broken and arm and annie just a few cuts- highly unlikely. That's why i'm going back to my dream theory. it's all a big dream sequence!

Just a thought that is wayy out there, but maybe Sean dreamed this crazy thing because of post-traumatic stress because Annie really died in the car accident. I don't know, but that looked like a too bad of a wreck to just have a gash on the forehead. Especially when it hit on her side.

I have been watching this show since the first episode. This is a show about Christian and Sean - their friendship. Each year it somehow deals with their friendship and strong bond they have with each other. I don't think Sean will die because of this. Like someone said, this is Nip/Tuck world. They can stitch you up and you won't even have scars!

I think Eden is really mixed up. We havent seen if she truly kills Julia (but it would be nice). The carver wont be coming back as the creator of the show indicated following that season. Ollie does have money... I think she was a model or something if I remember correctly.

Lipo is a Boston Terrier and is actually one of my closet friends dog. She’s an animal trainer for Film and TV and has worked on Nip/Tuck on past seasons. The producers called her company looking for a puppy, and since the company didn’t have any pups they used her dog.

Her name is Ruby and she is the cutest puppy ever!!!

I dont like the whole thing about its suppose to be a funny season of nip tuck. I think there will never be a nip tuck like season 3 and the finale was just unbearable. My friends and i will say it was ok then try to talk ourselves into it being better than what it was this season.
Although the last 2 eipisodes were better than the rest. (feb 08) But but...... just as we start to get good.........its gonna freaking end!!!!! What the hey! It just got good..........Matt slept w/his sister...Eden shot Julia.....and the freak manager Colleen is gonna go after Shaun. I had the same thoughts about the old clips. I thought they were digging way back in the archives and I was worried about returning to the Matt storyline but they did it perfectly! Who knows how many kids Christian really has out there but "supposedly" he always uses protection. At least that's always been the storyline. I was glad Matt was able to break away and try to find someone he was less infatuated with. Now he has a whole new mess on his hands. But why didnt he want to break the news to Christian? That part confused me a little.

That's a few good episodes that they've strung together. Finally! Julia looked terrible and I was so excited to see that she may get written off! I didnt have any issues with the bear stuffing scene. In fact, seeing someone trying to off themselves by slitting their wrists was more frightening to see.

You guys are serious about the bear stuffing scene. I mean there was hardly any blood at all. It was not that bad. I mean there has been many scenes on the last 4 seasons that have been alot worse than that. I mean, the carver's scenes were pretty messed up and what about when that girl's dad was trying to make Matt cut that trannies thing off..? That scene was not bad by no means, if anything, it showed just HOW crazy this lady is. You have to remember, they are in LA and I think they are staying true to reality. I mean hell, look at all the shit that happens in LA and California period!!! If you think that showing a man being stuffed and bear eyes being pushed in is bad, you must be kidding. Go watch half the shit on tv and then come back to that scene and tell me it was bad. Please, I think this season is fresh and new, and it is people like you that make shows go off the air because you complain to damn much. Last nights show was great. Eden's charachter is confused, evil and down right slutty and she portrayed it to a T last night. Kimber is back to her normal ways, and Sean is just getting caught up in the LA scene. Christian is being himself and who cares about Connor and Anne? We all know what happens to them. Remember the furture epsidode..? Get off you high horse and enjoy one of the FEW good shows on TV

The show has lost me..the writing is stupid, there is no continuity. It is like watching soft porn. Where are the kids? What is happening to Julia? It has lost its first season quirkiness ..I used to think it was SOOOO different, but now it is just bored!

I completely agree with everyone else. The bear stuffing scene was DISGUSTING. I almost said I'm not watching Nip/Tuck anymore if I'm going to have to sit through scenes like that. Who gives a crap about Sean's acting career... Just like the episode "Plastic Fantastic"... dumb episode. They really need to pick it up this season and stop jumping from one story line to another every other episode. I wanna know what is Julia poisoned with... where is Ollie in all of this? And how did Eden even meet Kimber? Stupid stuff so far.. really...

Well, I warned you guys about a death of a major character this season... The writers need to bring Escobar back... Hint: prison escape?!?! The biting teacher plot, as with the terrorist & burnt jew chic was also crap! I did like the father & son chat dream sequence... It was kinda funny seeing Sean and Wilbur talking trash bout Gina....

I've actually enjoyed the past two episodes. The shock and awe is back and I didnt think there was any predictability about either episode. The last two episodes were extreme but nothing that made me sick or anything like that. I didnt see Gina's death coming and I was in tears at her funeral (laughing that is). I'm happier with the way the show is going now than I was earlier this season.

dwarlock, Connor has been mentioned and was even seen briefly but has really not been mentioned. He's apparently with Julia's mom this entire time. No one on the show really seems to care... LOL. It's pretty sad how they've just neglected to mention him in the writing.

Can anyone tell me what the hell happened with Sean and Julia's son Connor? I don't recall any character mentioning him on season 5.

Nip/tuck needs to get back to it's roots as a great medical drama and drop this whole BS with LA and bear stuffing agents. Have you noticed that every single spurned female ends up being some kind of psychopath? Do the writers hate women or something?? The story continuity is for shit the last two seasons and I'm not buying any of it. I loved seasons 1-3 and suffered through most of season 4, but this season is really making me wonder if there is any hope for this formerly awesome show. I really think they jumped the shark last week with Gina's death. I literally said out loud "you have got to be kidding me". Every single plot twist in tonight's episode was so obvious you could see it coming a mile away. Please - bring back the old Nip/Tuck!!!!

BITING woman? Had no significance what so ever and let her get away with it (A reoccurring thing, Carver anyone?) The viewers dont like it!

And the stuffing scene! COMPLETELY disgusting, horrific, and unnecessary. We could have left it to our imagination when we saw the stuffing machine. But no. The character of Sean's agent is going nowhere and Sean's career is a surgeon, not an actor. How did no one in this guy's company think he was missing? ANd not to mention it was totally obvious he was going to die when it was just the two of them in the apartment.

There was no surprises, horrible dialogue, and the death of Gina is not realistic at all.

Nip Tuck, cmon.

Let me just say that i am a die hard niptuck fan, and i am completely obsessed with the show ever since it started. But tonights show almost made me sick. When she stuffed that guy with the bear stuffing. I litterally ran to the bathroom and almost vomitted. I really think they had went to far. I mean i have seen some sick shit, but i would have to say that is the only thing on tv that has made my stomach turn like that. I mean when a 20 yr old almost gets sick off of that but i can watch surgery and horror movies with blood and guts everywhere without any problems, that shows that maybe this writer is really screwed in the head.

Like she had one too many plastic surgery done on her entire body or something...Anyways, I think Christian will be nailing Eden on the next episode... Oh, My vote for the best part of this season would be the love making /Fk fest session between Sean & Eden.

I am very close to dropping Nip Tuck as part of my entertainment line up. This season is bad. The best part was when Christian nailed the secretary. That was like the orginal N/T. The Bomber thing was dumb and so was Rosie getting ran over. What happened to the spark?

I really did have some high hopes for this episode but again, parts were good and parts were bad. I thought the idea to have the pieces of the bomber in Melba Toast's body was great... but did they really have to have this bomber in the background? Wasnt Sean angry enough at Christian and everyone already?

I was expecting a great fight between Sean and Christian as well after seeing the promos 75 times this week and all it really ended up as was a bunch of pushing and shoving. I was disappointed.

I loved the storyline of the secretary and Christian's line about her tits being like catnip to him was a classic! Sean was just being evil and that is classic Nip/Tuck. Bringing Gina in was great but it seemed like she vanished pretty quickly in the episode.

The gay pride parade storyline was terrible and cheesy. Rosie gets her heart broken (another weak plot to fill time) ends up giving a bike to the girl because she felt bad. Weird...

I want to know what's going on with the poison. I want to know why Julia hasnt left yet. Did Matt forget about his daughter in his crusade to get the pieces of the bomber out of Ms. Melba toast?

I am really torn apart this year. I want to watch it like I used to but it just has so many holes. I have to blame it on bad writing or maybe the writer's strike. Time to break out Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD :)

This season is horrible. Maybe because Roma Mafia is not the executive producer any more? The Suicide Bomber propaganda was crap too. It was a blatant effort by the writers to get compassion for the Jewish cause. Please leave politics out of this show.

This episode was sooo awful. Is it because of the writers' strike, because the writing was so off base from previous episodes, and the general flow of the show. We watch Nip/Tuck for scandalous content, not propaganda on terrorism or gay rights.

This season is becoming a real disapointment after last season that totally rocked. The main problem exists with the character of Julia. This is an extremly boring character. It looks as though the writers and producers are totally clusless concerning what made the ratings jump up last season. Do they really think that Julia was the cause and to expand her role to nearly all the episodes this season just does not make any sense. The triangle of Julia, Christian and Sean is just very old. Is this all the writers could come up with? Last season the next day my adult students could not wait to talk about this show. This season it is quite the next day. The whole show is looking old and dated..

Fanatic I completely agree with you in regards to the show and I told you my feelings earlier through private messaging.

There is definitly something lacking in the season. I definitly don't think Fanatic watches each episode to see what they are going to F^ck up now. I think, if he's like me, he watches each episode hoping they are going to drop the bomb we all expect from the writers of the show. They are masters at doing just that.

They did it with the carver...who expected that from the end of the second season? I know I didn't and it made the anticipation of the season premeire of the third season just that much more intense.

There is nothing here that makes me sit on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode. I watch every tuesday waiting for that bomb to drop.

So far it hasn't happened. Its more of a let down than anything. So while the episodes are decent I guess what I am trying to say is I feel that its sub-par from what expect from the writers of THIS particular show.

I can't help but to TOTALLY agree with Beah! Everybody must think they are critics!?!? You go write a show and make it better than Nip/Tuck! You don't have to like everything but you shouldn't watch it just to see "where will they f*ck up next?" I don't remember ever seeing a "PERFECT" show on TV!? But Nip/Tuck does come very close and I know many people that can back me up on that! Nip/Tuck Fanatic, I feel you too. What you write on your threads are usually non-bias in my opinion and I don't feel as though your nit-picking the show. Like I said, no show is perfect, there has to be something wrong and most people are spot on. But when you say things like the show has been suffering from the get-go..."Its entertainment...not a TEST!" Anywho, people need to get off the writers back! Sorry if you feel I am being critical... it's not like I am trying to nit pick at the show. I've watched every episode from day one. I even paid for a hotel room across the street of the hotel I was staying at last year just to watch the finale since my hotel didnt have FX. I'm as loyal as anyone but I dont think the writers are being loyal to the fans.

I am being honest when I say that I dont feel the same way about the show as I used to.

I've created the site for everyone to voice their opinions. I even paid for the discussion board out of my own pocket. Dont take offense of my criticism of a tv show. I am not criticizing anyone for liking this season but I would really like to hear what has you hooked.

Was there a scene last night that was especially funny or that shocked you? Let me know. I couldnt find one. I guess Julia hiding in the closet was funny. The cell phone call made for some minor drama. Why would Christian buy Julia a pair of ear-rings and then give them to her in front of Sean?

Beah, the only thing I disagree with is Julia. She doesnt lose respect for anyone. She's as sympathetic as it gets. She's a pushover. Julia and Christian make the worst match possible and it's been done. They hooked up and got pregnant. Then there was the wedding kiss. Enough, it's not some big romance that anyone is waiting for. It sucks, plain and simply and it's a weak storyline much like they all have been.

Matt and Kimber on meth was nice for shock value but that wore off quickly. How the f* did Kimber make that kind of turnaround anyway? Three or four episodes ago she was bringing her meth dealer into the bedroom just to pay for her addiction. This is just another example of half-ass writing.

The show has lost its luster for me gang. This season was supposed to be new and fresh and I just dont see it. What's fresh about Christian and Julia? What's fresh about Sean being the victim in this sick trist? What's new about Matt getting stepped on by everyone?

I think Eden's character is a good one but now they turn her into Betty Crocker...Huh??? If she's the villian, this really is a bad season.

The drama in the show used to come from Christian and Sean being blackmailed by drug dealers and fearful for their own lives. It used to be about Christian getting stalked and the guys getting attacked and tempting fate against a serial killer. There was competition from Bobolit and they were fighting to save their practice. You also had internal conflict between Sean and Christian because of Julia's secret about Matt. What storyline comes close to any of those this year?

I thought Christian and Sean were hurting for money this year. Did Christian's modeling really pay off? How much could they really make off Hearts n' Scalpels? What happened to their "publicist?"

Sorry gang, the quality of writing on the show this year sucks plain and simple.

I've seen many hate messages about how the show is going down a downward spiral!(I disagree completely but)Come on people, what do you expect? Their on their 5th season and everything has been DONE before. Its hard to create drama with everything being done already and not to mention the WRITERS STRIKE! If you really can't tell who the villain is than you haven't been paying attention to the season very well. It has to be Eden! Who else but a villain would intentionally poison someone, sleep with a man thrice their age knowing it would cause havoc; along with blackmail and fraud... I could go on and on! And for those Nip/Tuckians(fans) who feel as though Kimber is the villain are right too, she has been the villain for the last 4 seasons. What, there can't be two villains? I also have to agree with the "everybody moving to Hollywood and Julia happened to stay there and not paying attention to her kids along with child abandonment for dramatic value issue"! Phew!! I really enjoy Nip/Tuck, they could pull "The A-Team" and I would still follow it to the end!

I agree about Gina and Poppy. They were fun, but if I were to bright back a character from the past I would have Bobolit.

I feel like they're bringing back some patient connection. Good for them.

Julia...Julia...Julia... she's ruining my show! Last year's XMas episode was sooooo much better. Seeing Sean drunk as a skunk with a midget was priceless and the highlight of last year.

This year we get psycho carolers, a 3 man secret santa, a poor excuse of a Santa (another example of child neglect), Eden poisoning(?) Julia, and Matt getting a feel-good story from a woman burnt like my morning toast. Hey, they put Christian's ass in there again for the ladies though.... What's going on here???

Am I the only one feeling this way?

Olivia is probably aiming the gun @ Christian for sleeping & re-sleeping w/ Julia... I think Lizzybo's gurlfriend is no more (Alanis Morissette)...I hope Ava Moore & Gina makes their comebacks! I miss them both... Especially the Hello A-hole part...lol

So, I've watched the preview for next week (TOMORROW! FINALLY!) about 5 times so far, and I am 100% positive that it's Olivia holding the gun. They showed her face. But that doesn't mean she shoots anyone, it just means she was aiming a gun.

Eden will get a shot of DNA in the poophole by Sean...lol btw, the X-Files alien subplot is kinda lame...correct me if i'm wrong but I think the fat daughter was on the show b4 as another patient no??? and yeah the holdup does look very staged. Matt will survive fo'sure...

I'm still REALLY suspicious about the way Olivia acted during the attack. I think she staged it. But I could be wrong. It could be that the attack was written so that Julia could go buy a gun for future episodes.

Any guesses on who's going to be shot next week? And do you think they will die?

I think it's too early for Eden to get kicked off.

I dont think Ollie is the Villain at all this year. She's just a relationship like Alanis played with Liz. I thought the butt bandit would be the villain but maybe it's... Julia? After all, she's tormenting Sean.

They also reply the show right afterwards on Tues... I would vote Ollie the carpet muncher as the Villian for the season... I also think Matt & Kimber will lose their baby...

Fanatic, I would agree with you most definitely.

However, something I have "Forshadowed" if you will, is that maybe Christian made Kimber break up with Matt because he wants her back? I know the whole "Take the back door, that's where we take out the trash" thing but I think he still wants her, even if he doesn't have deep feelings for her. I mean really, when you think about it he's had every woman he's ever wanted, even Julia. But Kimber is far from easy, and I think that makes him want her even more.

We all know the pattern of Nip/Tuck. [Villain Introduced] - [Villain Does Damage] - and by the end of the season [Villain is removed in some form] The only really good thing that's come of this season, which no one seems to notice is that the "Villain" hasn't really been identified yet. Is it Eden? Is it Olivia? Is it Kimber?

OH! And did I mention Julia coming to Hollywood? I keep meaning to mention that! It's funny how Sean moved to Hollywood, Christian followed, Julia came for a "Visit" and suddenly Matt, Kimber, and the whole gang is there (Subtract the kids, they're only kind of there). Needless to say, the whole move to Hollywood was pointless.

I started watching Nip/Tuck the summer before season 4. During the summer they replay all of the episodes, 4 every night to be exact, so I've seen every episode thus far. My conclusion of the whole series is that it's boiling down to more sex and less surgery. Did you notice that there's different producers now?! Bonnie Weis (I think that's her name) isn't on the credits anymore. Could you believe I almost gave up on the series after the third episode of this season? I can!

cuz kimber is selfish... she uses Jenna and i dont think she really wants to keep her..... Matt ... dont know if he would make a good father on his own .... Lokk at what he did and now hes floating in his pool unconsious..... stupid...

Julia is looking too thin. She is looking like a ghost!! Poor writing all around. This show seems to have lost all creativity. Maybe the writers are tired and looking for their next projects.

M, great points. The "attack" was piss-poor writing and acting in my opinion as well as a complete waste of time. I dont have a prediction for next week but we'll see if you're right.

I dont think Matt died. You can pretty much count on him staying on this show till the end (which may not be far off).

The Kimber storyline is another one that is just way too far fetched. Model->Porn->Scientology->Motherhood->Crack Head->Porn That's a strange evolution indeed. Ram even had a wife... I know it's porn but come on. Christian's idea of helping Matt is force Kimber to do that to him, and then get back together with Julia???? Poor writing...

By the way, Julia looked like a crack head herself in last week's episode. Are we really supposed to believe that Christian still has a thing for her and is willing to risk everything with Sean AGAIN!!! This is just getting stupid in my opinion. Is Julia really perfection in Christian's eyes??? Why is she even still on the west coast?

Where's Jenna (Missing)? Where's Wilbur(Missing)? Where's Connor(in NY with Julia's Mom)? Where's Annie (apparently expelled from school)?

Was anyone else a little suspicious of Olivia's emotions during the attack? I mean, I thought she was the strong one out of the pair. She seemed WAY too sobby. It almost leads me to believe the attack was planned... Because after the attack, when Christian showed up, she seemed her normal bitter self.

AND, in the preview for next week I'm almost POSITIVE that she's the one holding the gun, possibly to her own daughters face. (My prediction)

Do you think Matt died? I don't! I think it was un-realistic how he jumped head first off the balcony, and they showed him land on his back in the water. I don't think he hit his head?

i think when confronted with a gunman you have 50/50 chance of surving. i'd hate to play it claim just to get shot anyway. i would rather play it claim until i see a chance to fight back, have some pride. The way Julia looked, she was trying to figure out what to do...Forcing a accident may help in real life but not for Nip/Tuck. I do agree with you that the story line was a waste of time. I have to admit, when the gunman said "now use the toy" i thought "man they are really past the envelope for tv now"

Wow, I love Niptuck and Im glad its back. Kimber used to be my favorite but now she is a crackwhore! I was soo disappointed, i love to see her doing good. but, now i have a new favorite and it's eden, she is such a great character and i bet she is going to be passed around through sean, christian, and matt JUST LIKE KIMBER!

I will agree that the writing that the writers did for Matt was terrific. I liked what happened with him, and it's good writing. More drama needs to happen, because it seems that the writers like to go back and forth to see who is really going to end up with Julia. I agree that the Carver really did bring alot of exciting drama to the show but they need to bring something like that back.

I think that this season is a little boring compared to some of the previous seasons. I mean really... the writers dont't really tell where any of the charaters are. Like last nights episode, where is Jenna, Matt and Kimber's baby? What about Annie? And Connor?

All these childern really are lost. Also I don't agree when people say that the writers need to turn down the sex factor on this show. Just because more women than men watch the show that doesn't mean that women don't like to see things like that.

Anyways, I think that Juila needs to break up with Ollie and forget Christian and get back together with Sean.

This is my first post. Loved last season but starting to hate this season..julia and chrisitian are boring together they have no chemistry. i'm soooo not liking season 5. Get rid of Julia-she's creepy this season. Last night episode was just awful. The writers seem to be laughing at the fans. Did they actually think that anyone would like that crap!!

I was really disappointed with last night’s episode. I was waiting for it to end and it kept going and going, then finally started to get back on track and the show was over. I never watch the previews for the following week but this week I did to make sure N/T was back on track, and it looks like it is.

Eve can always leave. It's not a prison but the program takes 6 weeks. Based on the injuries, no one really complained. Even Sean was won over.

Gang, if you're not watching Dexter you're missing out. This season has been awesome and has me much more captivated than Nip/Tuck.

I think "Plastic Fanstaic" is a nice change of pace and at the same time poking fun at the reality show crap... I think is kinda funny... I hope Sean gets to BANG Eden soon!!! Like that product placement at the end of the show... ChaChing!!! lol p.s. I wonder if carpet muncher Ellen D. watches this show... She should burn in hell for crossing the writers picket line.

I hate this "reality tv" episode! I miss the complicated drama sequences. I am very disappointed with the quality of the show. They've been dragging on about Kimber and Matt's drug problem and so far that hasn't developed into anything.
If things don't change soon I'm afraid I'm going to have to find a new favorite show.

I was able to attend the premier of season five and it was a blast. The stars were very nice and apporachable. I love the premier, like the twist it is taking and think that the writing has been incredible. More of Eden's body would be nice, she is beautiful in person and on screen.

Christian is the man! We all have insecurities and guilt Christian just lives them out.

Thanks for the compliment and I'm glad everyone is finding the board helpful. It's odd how we feel sorry for Christian but not for the women he does the same things to. There's no doubt Christian is the way he is because of his past but he's always been true to Sean and even feels bad for being jealous.

Sean is starting to revert back to his old self and I have no idea why he proposed to Kate unless he just felt so guilty for being attracted to Eden. I really thought Sean would have been more open since he moved to LA but I guess that's not going to happen now.

Bad things are in store for some of the other characters so it should be interesting the next couple of weeks. I dont think Matt has any idea of what he's gotten himself into. I think we're going to see him at new lows this year. Annie will probably get herself into a hospital because nothing has really changed now that she's expelled.

Why are Julia are Olivia still on the west coast? They just planted Eden in a school over there so that they could stay longer. Meanwhile, Conner is being watched over by Erica (Julia's mom). Cmon! That's not believable at all..... I agree with a lot of other folks about Wilbur also... who's watching him? We havent seen a nanny anywhere but at least he mentioned that they were watching the whales last episode.

Conner did look a bit older but I didnt pay too much attention. I wasnt crazy about the storylines with him outside of the 2024 episode.

According to my sources it is suppose be a major role that will be killed off this season. Thus, letting me to believe that it will not be someone new this season (unlike the Carver)... So, any one out there knows what her (Kimber/Kelly) contract situation with the show feel free to drop a note.

I think I've noticed a change but I dont think they've completely ignored the patients. I think part of the story is that business is a bit slower. Give it time, the patients will come and I think it starts with Rosie next week. That will get them back in the papers.

They havent had the usual freak patients they used to.

Is it just me, or is anyone else a little disappointed that S5 has almost exclusively dealt with Sean/Christian/Julia/Matt relationships and no attention to patients with issues? There used to be a balance of both and the 2 stories would tie in nicely with each other but I don't see that yet. Seems like that's an intentional shift in the writing style, and maybe thats what they want with the move to LA but its leaning too much to the soap opera side thus far.

I beleave that in the second episode of season 5, you catch a glimpse of Connor while Julia is on the phone with Sean. He is eating breakfast with his sister, and he still only has the one hand that was fixed. So he is still there. I just think that they played his story so much last season that they are going to bring him up later in this season.
