Queridos cuates:

This has been a breakout year for Johanna Siegmann Photography (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Johanna-Siegmann-Photography/150154048383373). I have my first solo show in Mexico City in May, followed by another solo show in the Mojave, in June. Hewlett-Packard and Sarono are partially sponsoring my Mexico show, but I am reaching out to my all contacts for additional financial assistance to underwrite the expenses of printing and framing my work.

Vivian Lampell Olmos (‘74) has pledged $100 towards supporting my projects, and is challenging all our AHS brethren to match her donation. Perhaps your company has a matching pledge program! Of course, any amount will help a LOT. And for donations in excess of $1,000, I am offering a print of your choice for free, up to 16”x20”. All contributors will be acknowledged in any and all printed materials for the exhibits. Let me know if you have any questions! And please forward to anyone you think might be interested.

Please contact me on how to make a donation.

Gratefully,
Johanna

Larry congratulations on your daughter going to Baylor. I think it is a great school with a lovely campus.

I am sure the only reason RGIII won the Heisman was because Baylor was finally able to beat TCU.
Hopefully Baylor will make it more of a rivalry now since they didn’t fare that well against TCU in the most recent outings.

2010 TCU 45 Baylor 10
2007 TCU 27 Baylor 0
2006 TCU 17 Baylor 7

Larry please let me know if you ever come to Texas to see them play and I’ll join you.

Britney Grinner can really throw a punch.

Wow, all of a sudden my office email gets a notification of a post here!

Quick Update: My daughter Lauren chose Baylor over a couple of UCs, so I now have a Texan daughter! She enjoys her freshman year at Baylor and is doing well. Neuroscience major. Also in Army ROTC, so eventually it will be LT. Dunn and I'll have to stand to attention when she enters the room :)

So Eduardo, I'm sure you saw Baylor took care of TCU in football, and RGIII won the Heisman, and Baylor Women Basketball are #1 and men's Basketball are in the Sweet 16. Not a bad time to be a sports fan of Baylor

Dear Classmates:
I sent out an email several weeks ago to gauge interest in a 35th reunion in Las Vegas. The response was an overwhelming "YES". So therefore, we are officially having a party.
The website below should answer most of your questions. You can only access this weblink through your browser.

www.ASF77.myevent.com

Be sure to go through every section!!!! Also, we will be updating the website as we continue to address the details of this event. In the meantime, i highly suggest you book trip asap: Why, because Memorial Weekend is a busy weekend in Las Vegas. I have reserved 40 rooms at a discount and once those are used up, i will not be able to get the same rate. Also, the optional event Friday night to see Beatles LOVE sells out quickly.
Enjoy the website!! If you have any further questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to contact me. Please do not do a "reply all" to this email unless you really have to.

I hope to see all of you in May
Besos y fuerte abrazos,

Dear Classmates:

This year we will be celebrating our 35th class reunion. Cathy Santa Maria and i have researched throwing the event in Las Vegas during Memorial Weekend. No matter how you cut it, when you add air-fare, hotel, booze and alike, your going to spend around $1,000US. The advantages of Las Vegas are many: Airfare and flight are plentiful from all airports including Mexico. There is also alot to do if you plan to stay the weekend.

The proposed agenda would be as follows:

1)Arrive Friday(May 25th) for a welcome coctail reception. The evening would be open to do whatever you wanted.
2)Saturday(May 26th) : Reunion day: Late afternoon lunch/dinner with some kind of entertainment. Perhaps we can organize a group to see Beatles LOVE?

I did look into hiring Jon Anderson of Yes and he was too expensive.

In order to keep the cost down, this is the agenda i'm proposing. If we do this, there would be a ticket cost per person to cover the coctails, food and entertainment. I would suggest limiting that ticket cost to around $150, like Ixtapa.

Since May is only 4 months away, i need your feedback asap ! 1) Would you be able to attend? 2) Are you ok with the venue and agenda?

If the response is favorable, then i will put the effort into making it happen, provided i get help. I will send an email out in the next couple weeks to let you know what the response was. In the mean time, hold Memorial Weekend.

Also, please forward this email to others from our class or other classes that may be interested.

Go through your phone book, call people and ask them to drive you to the airport because you are going to a great reunion. The ones who will drive you are your true friends. The rest aren't bad people; they're just acquaintances.

Eduardo, I didn't know that Dalton is a graduate from TCU and he is doing really well as a rookie.

Another loss for the chargers, to the packers, they had a bid of a chance but an interception ended the game, ni modo.

I have a difficult time betting on sports, cause i bet from the heart. No a very good idea.

Patricia I did not watch the game but I won some $ because I bet on Kansas. Why?

1. Ladanian no longer at San Diego
2. I figured that San Diego could not handle the Kansas cold.

Luckily what happened is that Rivers simply blew it.

Have you seen how good the Cincinnati Bengals are doing now with another TCU grad as quarterback?

About the Chargers moving, they have been threatening since they can't get a stadium built. I am wondering, if it might be the Raiders, since Al Davis died, you never know. By the way did you see the way the chargers lost to the chiefs, that was embarassing. A fumble on a snap, that was a shock. Saludos.
