I was wondering when the second book in the new Jayne Ann Krentz trilogy was coming out. I read the first Eclipse Bay, and can not wait for the second. I would appreciate an answer and can be e-mailed at: Detta2000@aol.com.
Thank you

Hi Theresa! Welcome to the temporary Kiss & Tell bulletin board (we're putting up a new bulletin board in a few months so this is just a temporary home). We're very happy that you enjoyed Eclipse Bay. The sequel to Eclipse Bay is entitled Dawn in Eclipse Bay, and it will be published in May 2001. If you have any other questions please feel free to post them.

Best,

Welcome to the temporary bulletin board for Kiss & Tell, the Berkley Romance Newsletter. We're working on a more permanent message board which will be debuting in a few months. All fans of romance (both readers and authors) are welcome to post here on any topic regarding romance--we would just like to request that authors refrain from promoting non-Berkley romances. The Berkley romance editors will also be using this forum for any announcements, so stay tuned and check back regularly. In September, Berkley Jove debuted a new line in September called Seduction, which features sexy, larger-than-life heroes. Check the newsletter for more information, and let us know what you think of them!

Hello, everyone! Just hopped over from my own web site to check out the new bulletin board! Looks great. Can't wait to meet new friends here who love romance and romantic-suspense as much as I do.

Hi, I love romance and romantic suspense. My favorite authors are Jayne Ann Krentz (under all of her names), Stella Cameron, Lori Foster, and JD Robb.
I have been lucky enough to meet them and they are even nicer in person then online.

I've got a question about the new Seduction line. What features set it apart as a line? Is it going to be all historical romance? Also, I've heard that you will be adding another new line of Scottish romances. What are the details on that?

Hi Gina--Seduction is a new line of both historical and contemporary romances featuring a sexy, larger-than-life hero. These stories will be sensual and filled with sexual tension, but not erotic. They are about 95,000 to 100,000 words long. Other than that, there aren't any more specific guidelines--it's really up to the individual writer's imagination.

Berkley is indeed looking for Scottish historicals and contemporaries--similar in concept to our Irish Eyes line. These too will be about 95,000-100,000 words in length. And the sensuality level will vary depending on the individual book.

Hope this helps!
