Hi Alicia, tnx for visiting/subscribing :)
It's been years since I've done chatting (IMing) so I've really no standard of comparison about whether Gabbly's good or bad, but I (for one) have gotten used to, and able to take advantage of, its many features (hey, if you look at 'em right, they're not bugs). LOL
But I've been around long enuf not to "fall in love too quickly" with any one app, since there's such bright folx on the 'net. Like maybe that second chat app that some helpful soul mentioned in an FDL thread (I forget its name and the link, why do I think of kangaroos) might do better than Gabbly. Any ideas, pro or con?
Oh well, we'll see if the FDL staff are even interested in "sponsoring" a chat (i.e., either choosing and implementing one on their server, or choosing an external chat (someone else's server) and linking to it on their masthead)...
OBTW I'm in Metro BOS, MA USA. Where r u if you don't mind my asking?

Hey, SOS - I think a chat would be great. Gabbly's all right for what it is, but you know how aggravating it can be. In a word, I'm for it!
