American Transmission Systems, Inc. (ATSI), a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., is proposing to construct a 138,000 volt power transmission line passing through Thompson, Montville and Huntsburg townships. The proposal is causing much concern on the part of residents due to the locations of the two proposed routes.

CARE offers a Night at the Races on Friday, October 17


Citizens Advocating Responsible Energy (CARE) will hold a night of fun at its NIGHT AT THE RACES fundraiser on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Montville Community Center. The Montville Community Center is located at 9755 Madison Road, Montville, Ohio, just south of US-6. Click here for a map.

Tickets are $15 and include a Fantastic DiFranco dinner.
