Update on Jay Grace. Jay went through the surgery well and is now recovering at Duke. He has suffered no ill affects from the wreck with the exception of the broken bones. He is eating solid food and able to converse with those there. Please continue to pray for him and his family.

Please Pray for Jay Grace. He is the brother in law of one of my co workers and was involved in an accident yesterday morning. He was hit by a speeding teen. He has a crushed shoulder, broken pelvis (front and back) broken ribs, Tibia broken in two places and a fibula break. He was rushed to Duke yesterday morning and was in surgery for around 4-6 hours. He is finished with his first rounds of surgery but is expecting more. Please pray for Jay, Mary and their kids. Del

Just got a call from Sandra Ball, letting me know that her great-niece down in Pembroke lost her baby. Her infant, Devon Tyler Long, was born prematurely on December 6th, and had appeared to be doing okay after beng examined by the doctor. He suddenly quit breathing and passed away yesterday. His body is being sent to Duke for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, which appears to be SIDS at this time. Please keep the parents, Krystal & Eric, in your prayers.

I announced to the Celebration Choir last night about our new on-line Music Ministry Directory. For some time we have tried to come up with a printed directory for our ALBC Music Ministry, but it changes before we can get it completed. I believe this will be the answer to our "directory dilemna"!

You will need to know the password in order to access this site. I will not post that password here for security reasons. I will have a small business card prepared for all of our Music Ministry membership that will have the link to the site and the password printed on it for your convenience.

I am asking that you DO NOT MAKE PUBLIC THE PASSWORD.....(hence the reason for USING a password!) It is easy to remember once you know what it is, but please do not post our password on any public sites.... i.e. Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.....

Obviously our Mission Team down in Guatemala & Belize is shaking things up quite a bit! Pastor Jeff reported that they were awakened early this morning by an earthquake in Guatemala which caused an immediate evacuation of the hotel where they're staying. (Honestly, I think it was just Perry Brock snoring, but you never know!) The team is all fine and is very thankful for the prayers. They will be returning home in several days, so keep them in your prayers as they begin to make the journey home.

When Edwin read this last night he came and told me instantly. We are praying for you and your family.

Please keep my family in prayer. I just found out that my cousin Ginger, who is 27, her husband died last night. I'm not sure of Michael's exact age but he was her age or just a little older. He had a heart transplant several years ago and lately had trouble with the heart and was on the waiting list for a new one. Overnight his heart just gave out. My Grandpa passed the beginning of December so now with Michael passing too this is hitting our family very hard. I do not know of funeral arrangements yet but depending on that I may be out of town later on this week.

Spoke with Del a little after 12 noon today (Sunday, January 10th). He passed his kidney stone and is resting at home. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues to recuperate. Thanks for praying.

Just got a call that Del Stricklin, one of our basses, is at Cape Fear RMC with possible kidney stones. Please keep him in your prayers and pray for a fast resolution to his pain.

Please pray for my principal, Lori Mueller and her family. Lori is hopitalized with a sever infection in her legs and yesterday morning was informed that her mother passed away at Campbelton nursing home. Pray that God gives her strength during this time and leads her into salvation.
